Amazing views!

We had a power outage and needed some assistance after dinner and our host responded to me in less than a minute. So pleased with our stay. Thank you again!

It was great for a large group

Perfect for a Family Reunion

We stayed in the summer, and although it was extremely hot (mid to high 30’s in Golden), we stayed comfortable, even though the house is not air conditioned. We made use of the hot tub, pool table, foosball table, sound system and the fancy coffee machine. All of these things worked flawlessly and were in good condition. We ate around the big table and gathered both inside and outside on the big deck. Very private. Highly recommended.

Great place for our family to gather

Wedding party
Publié le 11 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayOverall, the house was great! We had 13 of us to celebrate my and my husband’s wedding. It fit everyone nicely and was very spacious. We were able to cook most of our meals which we loved and enjoy our time away in the mountains. We were there in the summer and was a warm 32 degrees and I did not realize the home doesn’t have AC. I understand you usually would not need it so I didn’t notice the listing didn’t say no AC. It was nice the home had many many fans to help though! Lastly, we were relying on the home stereo and unfortunately with the slow WiFi and the app required to use, it didn’t work for us. Either way we would book again if we were in the area!

Thank you for the review Alexis. And thanks for highlighting there is no AC. There are only a couple homes at Kicking Horse that have AC - the newest built homes. Typically it never was needed but recently with the more frequent summer heat waves the use of fans and opening windows in the evening and mornings to keep the homes cool becomes necessary.
We will look into why the Sonos system wasn't working for you.

Family retreat

King beds are two twins pushed together - not a huge deal but wasn't as comfortable.

For those reading this please note that this review was for a different home that we moved Anna to due to the oven needing replacing in this home (done now). This home doesn't have split king beds. The king beds are standard king beds.
