Great cabin and location
Posted Sep. 12, 2024 on HomeAwayMy friend and I needed a base camp for a fishing trip on the Trinity River and a nice place to cook a nice dinner and relax at the end of the day. We were within 10 to 30 minutes of all the boat launches where we meet our guides, and came back to a well equipped kitchen and charcoal grill to prepare a nice fresh fish dinner. We’d sit on the dock dunking worms to end each evening. We will be back!

Great hidden getaway
Posted Jul. 5, 2024 on HomeAwayMy wife and absolutely loved this location. This was one of the best places we’ve vacationed at and I would go back in a second. The house is wonderful and right up against the lake. It’s well covered by trees and has everything you need to enjoy a quick getaway. The hosts were wonderful and very responsive. This is a great place and I look forward to going back.

We loved the upstairs downstairs set up. Plenty of pillows and blankets for extra comfort. This host left no stone unturned. Best rental we have ever had.

Wonderful family time in a peaceful location
Posted Apr. 11, 2024 on HomeAwayMy family enjoyed four nights at this home in mid-March and enjoyed every moment. The owners are wonderful, extremely thoughtful and go the extra mile for their guests to feel comfortable and welcome. Our family enjoyed HOURS on the lake in all the boats available. The lake is very small, quiet and peaceful. My husband and kids also spent so much time fishing and were very successful. I loved spending time reading in the lounge chairs on the dock. There is so much to do in the house and opportunities to have fun together. The beds in the house are super comfortable, I wish I could have brought the downstairs bed home with me!

Just what we needed
Posted Jan. 2, 2024 on HomeAwayThe owners were beyond accommodating!!! They were super quick to respond to questions and gave helpful and fun tips. We rented the boats/kayaks and had so much fun!!! The area outside is perfect for everyone, they have so many different areas to hang out❤️. The beds were so comfy, I was super worried because I forgot my pillow at home, but there’s were great. We are looking forward to our next visit💕

House has it all!
Posted Dec. 5, 2023 on HomeAwayAny possible activity you can think of, they have it! Boat, kayaks/canoes, 3 docks...yes 3! Foosball, movies, games, books, hammocks, a golf green, even a guitar and amp. They have simply everything! No doubt I've forgotten items, shoot I'm not even sure i saw it all. Add to that, the hosts are so thoughtful. When symmer gets her, I'll be going back!

Relaxing
Posted Nov. 30, 2023 on HomeAwayIt was lots of stairs twist and turns . We didn’t understand the water drippings in our bed when the upstairs was being used but overall great stay. Loved the scenery from the peddle boat.
