The wife was as sweet as pie. If we had one complaint it would be not to have her husband do the check ins. For the amount of money you spend for the stay he was very off-putting during meet and greet. Almost as if we should feel privileged to be on his property. I highly recommend this place as long as you can look past the husband's crankiness.

Kate & Al are super hosts and the Strictly Moose suites are clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with full kitchens. Gorham is a lovely little town with terrific dining options a short walk from the lodge (Kate & Al will give you tips) and it's a short drive to all that the White Mountains have to offer. We would definitely go back and stay longer.

Fabulous Suites near Mt Washington
Posted Jun. 21, 2021 on HotelsWonderful location with a spacious suite including a large bathroom that has two sinks and a large walk-in shower with a rain shower and stand shower head at opposite sides. The kitchen is also good size with a table that seats four and plenty of counter space. The appliances seem new and all of them worked perfectly. If we were ever near Mt Washington again, this would be the only place we would stay in.
