Fall odyssey

We loved the decor of the cottage, the beds were comfortable & we enjoyed the country vibes.
As the Depot is in quite an isolated position you need to consider bringing basic supplies with you. E.g milk etc. we only found out about the lack of onsite shopping when we arrived late at night. We found out where a supermarket was, once we arrived & read the information sheet. Richlands Center was a valuable resource for diner breakfast & Walmart!

Great getaway

Publié le 2 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was our second short stay at the Depot. We love this little house and use it as a launching off spot for biking, paddling and short day trips. The road biking around the depot is fantastic. The house itself is very comfortable and well appointed. We love the train themed decor and memorabilia. One thing to note, while there are two bedrooms, the upstairs bedroom doesn’t have a door. Not an issue for our family, but could be awkward for couples traveling together.

Cottage Retreat
Publié le 22 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy third stay at the lovely, comfortable, welcoming, and very charming Gotham Depot. We come for the APT performances, and then enjoy cooking up wonderful meals at the cottage, and finishing the evening around the firepit with long of fireside chats!! The cottage is spacious, yet cozy. Highly recommended. Hosts are very accessible and gracious. Thanks for making this great spot available for visitors!
