Beautiful Location
Publié le 2 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe rented this beautiful home for a girls trip. The property was very clean and spacious and we loved the screened porch dining area. The kitchen was well equipped with washer/dryer looked brand new. Coffee on the deck in the morning was lovely. It's very quiet and peaceful. We would rent again if we return to Maine. Property management was quick to respond if needed. So much better than a hotel!

Lovely Home

The rooms were plenty comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. I hope to be back someday

Garbage dumpster overflowing(huge oder with clouds of flies) This was not resolved for 6 days; in addition almost no water pressure (especially in showers);gnats throughout entire house;dangerous stairs to non-existent beach; old stove top-burners uneven and Difficult to use;dead insects in window sills; fans and some plugs do not work; poor condition

We are disheartened to read you experienced issues that kept you from enjoying your stay. We apologize for the water pressure not being to your liking and our local manager assured us that it has been addressed by a plumber and is typical to the home. Additionally, trash is picked up monthly by a vendor as the area is small and extra pick-up days are not available. The stairs to the beach were washed out by recent storms and we’re sorry for any inconvenience this caused your party . Your comments regarding the plugs have been shared with the homeowner and we appreciate your feedback as an opportunity to improve. We hope you will give us another opportunity to provide you with a much-improved experience in the future.

Very disappointed
Publié le 21 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayI really wanted to love it. The view was spectacular. The location was remote. The kitchen was well stocked. However, the house had more of a cabin feel that needed some TLC than the 5-star rating that was advertised. Far too many outlets or fixtures didn’t work. The deck was in a state of disrepair. The grass was literally waste high. The steps leading to the water were broken and dangerous. And the water flow in most faucets was so low that the women couldn’t wash hair in the shower, they had to wash hair in the utility sink as this was the only faucet with decent water flow.
The grass and the water flow were the only things I expected Vacasa to address. After a whole lot of run around, the grass was finally cut on day 3 and left in piles. The water issue was never addressed. Vacasa management has ruined VRBO.

Great but...
Publié le 22 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayLocation, cleanliness, amenities were all a 10, but the downstairs bed was hard as a rock, and the others were so so. Comfortable beds are a must, Invest in some better bedding and this place would be a perfect 10. I would also suggest a queen sized bed for the downstairs bedroom. Otherwise we had a great vacation visiting Acadia and the surrounding area.
