Secluded Paradise!
Publié le 4 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is an incredible getaway. The house has everything we needed to cook and bake, including a grill. There are times when the power on the island is out so the grill was really handy. The beach is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen and most days we were the only ones there.
Jethro was always available if we needed him and very friendly! We hope to be back to this magical place soon.

Fantastic property!
Publié le 22 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe took our family down to the bahamas for a graduation celebration. The pool house plus the main residence was a must and a very nice feature of this place. Not to mention the pool was awesome. Jethro keeps his place very nice and was very willing to help us out on what to do on the island. The beach is a 5 minute walk.Or a very short drive.beautiful beautiful! Thank you for your hospitality Jethro.We hope to see you soon!

Graduation Celebration
Publié le 18 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayHad an amazing time at Tradewinds. Great location. Plenty of space to spread out. Everything we needed was there, and Tippy’s was right down the road. Communication with Jethro was excellent. The pool was an added bonus after along day exploring beaches.

Ultimate Paradise

Jethro is hands down the best home owner we have ever rented from. Immediate response in person if needed. Even though right on Banks Rd the privacy is perfect! Looking forward to returning to this beautiful island and will definitely return to Tradewinds!

JUST BOOK IT
Publié le 10 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayAfter rescheduling our trip to Eleuthera 2-3 times due to Covid and then a medical issue, we were finally able to make it down to stay at Jethro’s property and it was totally worth the wait! The home is located in a nice area that gets you away from everything! The beach across the street is STUNNING and you MIGHT see 1-2 other people strolling the sand but you also might not. The property was exactly as listed and well appointed-Jethro and Bubbles (his sweet pup) stopped by upon checkin to go over a few things and that was really nice. Speaking of Jethro, you can expect his communication with you to be stellar - truly a helpful and gracious host! He now sets the bar for all VRBO hosts LOL.
Highly suggest Tippy’s which is super close to the house (amazing customer service, food/drinks, and view; popping down to Ten Bay Beach (about a fifteen minute drive from the house) which was jaw dropping beautiful, visiting the Glass Window bridge (and if you’re brave and careful climb up on the rocks for some amazing panoramic pics), and hitting The Market supermarket for groceries. We did go to Harbour Island for a day trip; rented a golf cart to scoot around and it was really nice-much more of a bougie scene on that island and a lot more people if that’s your thing. But we were quite happy at the beach across the street from Jethro’s and then cooling off in the pool at the end of the day! Felt totally safe during our whole trip. Like I said, JUST BOOK IT.

Stay like you live there!

The kitchen has all you need to cook (stay like you live there) with seasonings -we added garlic powder, mustard, Mayo and salad dressing- all the small appliances and kitchen equipment is there. The grill is nice, and we used it a few times. Your beach days are covered with chairs, mats, toys and snorkel gear for the family. Bring your fishing poles! Don’t fill your suitcase with beach towels they have many. The lovely pool and deck with lounges gives you something to do on your “down time.” The two upper decks are ideal for sunrise, sunset, star gazing, meals and a spectacular space launch we saw go right over head!! The location is perfect for exploring the island top to bottom. Jethro and Cate, your hosts, go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. With tips on where to eat, what to see and things you shouldn’t miss while you’re staying. If you want to live like a local and have it feel like your home. Stay here, I assure you you won’t be disappointed.
