Very calm location

Even though it is old, the host keeps clean The breakfast is low level because the price is not expensive uncomfortable by upper floor's noise

Stayed ones night. Location allowed us to take time to enjoy this Cape. Staff helpful by recommending things to see the next day on way to Cape Town.

Bom hotel

A estadia foi boa, lugar é simples, mas agradável, posso dizer o mesmo para o café da manhã. Para quem vai fazer o ironman fica a 1,7km da largada, muito tranquilo. Vale a pena pelo custo beneficio, eu recomendo.

Disappointed

Our general feedback would have to be DISAPPOINTED. Check in - (1) On check in, the booking company had our details incorrect (wrong name and wrong gender) We were very disappointed by the lack of maintenance to both the bedroom, and the bathroom. Bedroom - (1) The duvet inner was completely lumpy, as were most of the pillows on the bed. All could do with replacing. (2) There were no net curtains despite the fact that the room faced onto common property. (3) The curtain rings had come away from the curtains in some places. (4) The room had a safe but we were unable to use it as the establishment could not provide us with a key for the safe.(5) The armchair was dirty and a little threadbare. Bathroom - (1) Shower head was loose. (2) The soap dish in the shower was loose, and tilted downwards. (3) The shower door was difficult to close. (4) The tap at the basin was loose. (5) The soap dish at the basin was loose. (6) The toilet seat didn't fit the toilet properly. (7) We had to call for an extra towel on the first evening as there was only one towel provided initially. General - (1) There was a constant unpleasant smell in the room which appeared to emanate from the bathroom. (2) The WiFi only worked intermittently.

Not a great place to stay

Room we stayed in had no aircon as advertised, were promised fans which we never got, room smelt very mouldy. No LED tv as advertised, breakfast was lacking variety. Rooms were cleaned very late in the day which was inconvenient and towels were only changed after 3 days. Would not advise anyone to stay here. I will not stay here again.
