Cottage
Posted Oct. 23, 2024 on HomeAwayProperty was nice. It was a little stressful that the host didn’t communicate very much without me begging for her to answer my questions. Bottles of water would have been nice also.

Great spot to stay in Grafton!

Everything was in walking distance from our place and we even enjoyed a live band happening next door from our deck! The home was clean and had everything we needed. I definitely recommend this place to others for their visit in Grafton!

Posted Sep. 26, 2024 on HomeAwayThe location was awesome. We were really disappointed with the cleanliness of the house and porch. The floors hadn’t been mopped. There was dirt and sticky stuff on floors. In the bathroom there
was thick dust all around the baseboards. When we went to take a shower the container of shampoo ,body wash and conditioner were caked brown in the containers. On the deck there were baskets of dead flowers lined up next to railing. There were acorns all over deck. We had to sweep them up so we didn’t twist our ankles. There was a bucket of dragnet water catching rain frim roof. The patio furniture was so dirty that we had to clean them before we sat down. We loved the location but we paid $600 for 2 nights and I think it was way too much for the condition of the house.

Unkept- dusty ,cleaning rags left behind,etc.
Posted Aug. 29, 2024 on HomeAwayJust generally unkept, hot and not very inviting. Were only there long enough to make arrangments elsewhere. Not VRBO quality.Not happy at all. Would like some reimbursement if possible. If not, guess we will chalk it up to experince and move on.

The grafton scary house
Posted Aug. 25, 2024 on HomeAwayFamily of host were watching us enter property at the grafton pub. We were unable to get the door open because apperently it sticks. I asked the host to call us, instead this random man came and said “my girlfriend owns the place” and he knew how to open the door. He typed in the code & then jiggled the handle & door and then got us in. Then I received a call from the host asking if we got in okay. Which is super confusing and also kind of scary a group of men and women knew the code? We had no idea who any of these people were. The people at the winery on the balcony were yelling & harrassing us before we even got in the door. The bathroom’s shower curtain was torn off, there was toilet paper thrown all over the bathroom, looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in days. There was tons of debris all over the deck. The price they ask for this place is embarrassing for what they offer. Safety is questionable here. Also the men called all of us fat, and said we had too many people here because we were fat. Received a lot of verbal harassment from “the owners” we had like 8 people come up to us telling us they owned the property.
