The main thing that held this experience back from being a five star experience was the loud guests in the morning before checkout. There was about 2 or 3 hours of the guests in the surrounding rooms knocking on each other's doors and yelling for them to let each other in. Yelling in the hallway was excessive and annoying. This wasnt the hotels fault but it made the morning far more restless and bothersome than it could have been. The indoor pool and fitness center were useful and the breakfast in the morning was sufficient. The room was clean but there were issues with the TV that made it unable to be turned off without some work. After this was resolved everything about the room itself was as expected. I don't particularly care for the rooms where the sink is separate from the bathroom. There was another sink in the kitchenette that could have been used for any other purposes while the restroom was in use. It would've been nicer if the entire bathroom area was enclosed because this part of the floor plan gives the room cheap motel vibes. This is the same floorplan in another Springhill suites I stayed at in the Charlotte area and in both of these rooms the bathroom door wouldn't close reliably. To me most of these things are mere details. The negatives are cumulatively the things that made this stay less than perfect but the positives and generally good amenities are what made the stay pretty good overall.
