Wedding week
Publié le 20 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWe booked because of the location was close to Sparrow Creek Ranch Wedding venue.
We were pleasantly surprised to find a large garage (game room) to set up for the decorations and such to be used for the wedding.
The property was great. We had the bride staying with us for the week of then her brother came in and spent the weekend with us. Since our family is from the North. It was so awesome to have our small family all in one place and 5 minutes from the venue.
The beds were so comfortable.
The added extras such as makeup remover pads in the bathrooms and shampoo and conditioner were also provided.
We did get to enjoy sitting in the covered deck and watched Mother of the Bride.
Our host was very responsive and helpful when I accidentally forgot the cake top in the freezer.

Publié le 3 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayClean, quiet place to stay with tons of outdoor activities. We spent most of our time outside. Close enough to town that if you need something you can get it relatively quickly, yet far enough away to feel like you’re on vacation.

Great getaway
Publié le 21 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had an amazing time celebrating my daughter's 7th birthday at the cabin. The pool and the fire pit were the best part of our stay. The children really enjoyed the game room and hiking. We cannot wait to be back!

Perfect Location

Great get away
Publié le 3 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayThis is a great place to come and unwind and is pet friendly . The property is clean and well managed. Plenty to do even if you just stay there and chill. It is not far from attractions, but is off of the beaten path. We visited two of the nearby state parks and the fossil park in Mineral Springs. We sat on the patio played games with the kids and enjoyed the quiet while listening to nature. My kids and I hit the trails on the property while my wife relaxed on the patio. This place has all of the comforts of home and great hosts. They get back to you in a timely when you have questions or need help. Great instructions when it comes time to check-in and leave. Couldn’t have picked a better place for a weekend getaway. Thank you for a great stay!!!!!!!

Texas Sun = Texas Chill
Publié le 29 juin 2022 sur HomeAwayWe were in the area for a baseball tournament at Rocker B Ranch. Texas Sun was just 23 minutes from the Ranch! We loved the cabin - cozy and comfortable! The decor was just right and had all the essentials. The host answered all my questions and was quickly responsive to all communications. We were especially appreciative of the binder which included all you wanted to know about the cabin, property, and the local area. We found sweet touches like a note from the host's daughter wishing the boys well for their tournament, toiletries, basic spices for cooking, sweet treats & items to make smores. All the beds were comfortable! I slept on the trundle and I slept well. All the linens and towels were fresh and clean. We can't wait to see what the loft will look like once it's ready for guests. We will definitely stay again when we're in the area again!

Great quiet place!
