Disappointing
Posted Mar. 14, 2023 on HomeAwayBack door lock was broken and would not lock, Pool was green. Although both items were soon fixed but the pool was unuseable for three days.4 bedroom villa with three sunbeds (One was broken) and no cushions. Two sunbeds with four cushions were delivered later. The tiles that surround the pool were in a state of disrepair, Curtain hooks missing causing the nets to droop (Dont think the nets have ever been cleaned.). Tumble dryer broke after second use, was not replaced for 1 week.
NOT the manager's fault : - Neighbour had week long party. - Two villas along decided to build extension. - New villa being built at end of road. - Council dug road up for three weeks and no water for two days..We are not habitual complainers and have rented villas for the last 7 years and although not everything was perfect, we never had cause to complain, but I believe advertising this as a five star villa is a misrepresentation.

Lovely villa
Posted Jan. 18, 2023 on HomeAwayWhen looking for a villa in the canaries, we came across this one and we all had a great stay and loved the villa, very clean, well equipped and plenty of space, a few negatives just for people to be aware, not all rooms have bathrooms, some are next door and the stairs are much steeper and dangerous for children and older people and this needs to be defined more, the stairs are in an awkward place and an accident waiting to happen, straight to your left as you come through the main door, a little trip of someone and it would be a hospital visit , so overall fantastic but just be aware with small children and elderly people, oh forgot to mention the beds, not as comfortable as you would like !

3 generations
Posted Jan. 13, 2023 on HomeAwayOur family with 3 generations spent Christmas and New year in Villa Diana. The house and pool is very nice and well equipped. The location is peaceful. There is a bus stop not so far away but we strongly recommend a rental car. We had no problem to park our 2 cars directly outside the house.
It was very easy to contact the house manager when we had questions or problems. And the pool keeper is an excellent man.
The problems we had was that some of the sun beds were broken and the drain from one of the bathrooms was semi-functional. I am sure that will be fixed before the arrival of new quests.

A lovely few days away
Posted Nov. 22, 2022 on HomeAwayThe villa is in a very peaceful location & just a few minutes' drive to local supermarkets/restaurants. The bedrooms are spacious with incredibly comfortable beds. The showers are all large walk in. However, we made an assumption that there were 4 ensuites which was technically not correct as only 2 were ensuites, with the other 2 being separated from 2 of the bedrooms. A little disappointing when you book as a group & all think you will have an ensuite but not the end of the world. The kitchen is very small with very little work surface & a small combi oven with just a bottom shelf. If you read the detail it does say "kitchenette" so we missed this point & again, not the end of the world but just to be aware. If you are a party of 8, also be aware that there is only internal dining seating for 6 & lounge seating for 5. As you enter the property through the front door, there is immediately a set of stairs going down to the lower level. There is no handrail so a bit of a hazard if you have small children or frail/elderly people so another thing to be aware of. Overall, we had a lovely time at this villa & would recommend but with awareness of the stairs/kitchenette/ensuite situation.

A wonderful place for a peaceful stay
Posted Aug. 31, 2022 on HomeAwayWe absolutely loved Villa Diana. It is spacious and well furnished inside and the outside space is heavenly.
It is located near everything you could need; a supermarket and a choice of beaches, but as it is set back from the road is it really peaceful. We spent many lovely hours relaxing by the pool and would definitely like to return one day.

Amazing family holiday and kids learnt to swim
Posted Jun. 28, 2022 on HomeAwayThis is a lovely property with the main feature being the private pool. My kids 8 and 6 we not confident swimmers at the beginning of the holiday but by the end, they were having spent every minute possible in the pool.
The villa is well located - a car is best but we didn't have one as we have friends and family on the island that drove us to the supermarket to get supplies. If you don't have a car you can walk to the bottom of the road and get a bus very easily to most locations on the island (neighbouring resorts, airport, and Las Palmas). You can also walk down to the beach and along and up to the Playa del Cura Spa supermarket.
Everyone we interacted with was great, Cristina the owner, Suzi who met us at the property and the gardener and cleaner were lovely and friendly too.
I have a few suggestions that would be easy to implement and by all means, did not detract from an amazing holiday. The mattresses should have a protector on under the sheet and a replacement gas canister for the BBQ should be supplied (we didn't end up using the BBQ as the canister felt very light and we didn't want to run out halfway through cooking).
Thank you for a lovely stay we hope to return soon.

Family birthday celebration
Posted Nov. 5, 2021 on HomeAwayThis villa is excellent ,, it has everything that any group would need loads of room for everyone,,my only bad comment is if you r travelling with a young child the stairs would be a BIG worry,, the owners would really need to consider fitting gates for the safety of everyone staying as the stairs are right beside the front door leading downwards so if someone happened to 1 or 2 to many drinks they could easily stumble sideways and fall down them ,, plus unfortunately not a lot of the taxi drivers understood the address but the simple remedy we found was to tell them the name of the restaurant at the bottom of the road worked a treat,, it really is a lovely villa

Very comfortable beds, large and spacious living room. Very good weather this time!
Posted Jan. 29, 2020 on HomeAwayLarge, clean and spacious courtyard. Clean pool and hot water; The bathrooms are large, the towels are clean; A washing machine and a clothes dryer are available; The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The host was friendly and welcoming and has the office close to the property. There are many grocery stores in the area and several beaches nearby. Villa Diana is in a quiet area, has good neighbors; We were greeted with fruit, water and a bottle of wine; I'll be back here soon.
