Great place to stay with the most comfortable bed ever!
Publié le 30 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayTh loft was perfect for our stay in Granbury! It was super clean, had a balcony where we could sit and people watch which everyone loves to do! The stairs to get on to and off the balcony were a bit treacherous, but if you hang on well to the window frame or the window handle, you'll be fine. There were some comfortable chairs out there but it would have been nice to have some type of heating source like the loft next door as it did get pretty chilly at night. This place also had the most comfortable bed I have ever had other than my own home!
Please be aware that there is an ice cream shop/ bar/live music venue, two doors down and below that played music on Friday night until about midnight. We could hear the thumping of the bass regardless of how loud we turned the fan on. It wasn't that upsetting, just a bit annoying since we didn't realize that was there.
The floor is creaky as in all old loft buildings, but that part of its charm! Just be aware that you may not be able to get up in the middle of the night without disturbing your partner. There was ample dishware but no dishcloths which made it a bit cumbersome to clean up after ourselves without wasting paper towels. The bathroom is nice and big and the shower was great! There is a washer and dryer in the main hallway along with a ladder, broom/mop and other cleaning materials in case of a spill or just the need to clean up after yourself. Overall, it's a greatplace that we enjoyed!

Carolyn and her husband were excellent hosts! They were very helpful; the property was beautiful and immaculate. Great stay!

Mother/Daughter Trip!
Publié le 25 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayMy mom and I were in town to relax, walk & shop the square, and just spend time together. Almost Heaven was the PERFECT location! And the pics are not misleading in anyway...you get what you see! It was so fun to be able to sit above the square and drink coffee or in the evening and people watch. Very comfortable for 2 people! Highly recommend...will be coming back!
