This condo is the perfect place for a family getaway, whether you're coming from the front range, or across the country. Winter or Summer, you will have lots of activities to choose from. Ski-in/ski-out access to family-friendly Granby Ranch including night skiing. Snow shoeing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, and ice fishing are all available. You are also only 15 minutes away from Winter Park Ski Resort and 1.5 hours from Steamboat Springs.

In the Summer you can take the chairlift right out the back door to miles of world-class mountain bike and hiking trails. Granby Ranch has a great 18-hole golf course and there are 2 other 18-hole courses within 10 miles. 20 minutes away is Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. Grand Lake offers boating, fishing, swimming and is a great example of an unspoiled Colorado mountain town. Rocky Mountain National Park offers some of the most spectacular views in the country where you can hike the Continental Divide.

Just steps down the road is the Fraser River which offers miles of fly fishing.

The condo is a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit that overlooks the Granby Ranch ski resort. There is a great deck to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening wine. We offer a stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook full meals and save money from eating out all the time. There is a gas fireplace, TV, and Blu-Ray/DVD player in the living room. High-speed WiFi is available in the unit. The master bedroom has a new (2020) king-size bed with a private 5-piece master bath. There is a stackable washer and dryer in the unit as well.

The building offers a common area with Wifi, fireplace, couches, books, board games, ski lockers, heated covered parking.

All renters staying at Granby Ranch must purchase a $ 10-day pass via credit card at the Ranch Hall to use the pool facilities. All children 8 and under are free. The pass is good for the entire day. Renters must present documents that show they are staying in a full benefit member home in order to purchase a pass. A VRBO/Airbnb or any other type of reservation confirmation with the address of the home will work as proof.

Best location for skiing at Granby Ranch
The Base Camp One condo building is located next door to the ski lodge, and the balcony of this condo unit is about 50 yards from the chair lift. So the location is the best you'll find for skiing Granby Ranch. The condo building is a bit dated, but if you're coming to ski this won't be a problem for you.

Once again a great stay. We already booked for next year making it our 4th year in that unit. Personally, I think it’s the best unit in the building. We had a pipe come disconnected under sink. We called unit owner and he had someone there within the hour to fix it. They had put in new flooring and it was very nice as well.

Great Location
We where there for a fall wedding and it was a grea location with most of the activities in the Base Camp complex next store. The unit showed a little age but was comfortable and well maintained. Beds , Beadrooms & Bathroom where all very nice. The unit was stocked with basics and was clean. In the ski season great view of the slopes & lifts with easy access off the first floor. The electronic door entry could use a update. We had nemerious times when it took us 3-4 tries to get the doors to open. I weould stay in this unit again.

Hard Review to Write from Our Midweek Winter Ski Stay
In spite of what's to follow, my family and I had fun skiing at Granby Ranch and will return to the area, but will be more careful where we stay next time. The owners were very communicative before our arrival, including friendly emails, texts, and a fairly long list of what to do and not to do while in the unit. I understand the owners wanting their renters to follow these guidelines, such as keeping shoes and boots off the carpet, in an attempt to keep the unit clean. However the carpet in its current state is already far from being in good condition--dirty and discolored in many places, severely fraying in others, and just generally in need of replacing. Another request on their list is to make sure the curtains are drawn during the day so that the furniture fabric doesn't fade. Fading should be the least of the owners' concerns. The furniture fabric, especially on the cushioned chair in the living area, is very worn and again needs replacing. In addition, the inside of the fireplace glass is dirty and in need of attention. The swing lock on the door is secured to the frame with scotch tape. The unit needs a lot of TLC. The owners state that early check-ins & late check-outs are not possible because of the need to thoroughly clean the unit. But, in my opinion it's been quite a while since any thorough cleaning has been done. The unit felt dingy and only lightly cleaned. There's dust everywhere, especially in the living area. The carpet didn't appear to be vacuumed as evidenced by a puzzle piece in the middle of the room and what looked like dirt from shoes or food crumbs, as well. I will say, the bathrooms appeared clean. Additionally, the lighting in the unit needs attention. There was a burned out bulb in the chandelier over the dining table (where there's much dust collected on the shades & arms of the fixture) and it was so dark in the primary bedroom even with every lamp on including the overhead light on the ceiling fan that reading before sleep was impossible. Speaking of sleep, very little of that took place during the two nights we were there. The snow grooming machines on the slopes began at 10pm and ran all night, until about 8am. Unfortunately, both bedrooms face out onto the hill and our whole family got very little to no restful sleep while we were there. I know this is long and will sound harsh to the owners, and for that I'm sorry. I will admit I have fairly high standards and expected more from a unit with a 4.9 star rating.

Nice apartment. Cute town. Wonderful host!
My family and I had a great time in Granby. My wife and I visited Never Summer Brewery. We took the kids to swim in Grand Lake and then to Hot Sulphur Springs. And we spent a day in Rocky Mountain National Park. We had a great stay and could have stayed longer. The apartment was exactly as promised and the host was instantly available whenver needed. I highly recommend this location.

Overall the condo was as expected. One lamp beside the bed had no lightbulb and the overhead lighting in the bathroom was dim. The top of the stove was dirty. It was a good central location for our various events we had to attend.

Perfect stay!
We were in Granby for a wedding and this condo was the perfect home base! It was clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, great space to hang out, and very comfortable sleeping arrangements. The view is also amazing and we enjoyed going on walks to enjoy it. We also loved the patio! Steve was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely return.

The rental was nice pretty view of the mountains. Close to the lift. Only complaint was there were 2 of us and there were only 2 bath towels. We were supposed to have some one else with us who wasn’t able to make it so we used the towels in the other bathroom. Also had all kinds of cookware but no pot holders. Other than that I would rent it again.
