Plan a ski getaway for seven and call this inviting retreat home base for the duration of your stay in beautiful Granby! While this condo offers a mountain escape from civilization and the craziness of everyday life, you won't find it lacking in modern amenities. The condo boasts contemporary finishings with its updated kitchen, Wifi access, and flatscreen TVs. As a fire roars in the gas fireplace, take in the beautiful mountain views off of the balcony each evening with a glass of wine. The complex also hosts a community outdoor swimming pool and hot tub for your enjoyment and relaxation after a long day of hiking, skiing, and more.

WHAT’S NEARBY
Just outside your door and behind the complex are the Conquest, Milestone, and Quick Draw Express Ski Lifts that will take you to the summit of the mountain for some unbeatable terrain, both for skiers and mountain bikers depending on what season you intend to visit. The base is also home to restaurants so that you can easily restore your energy and get back on the mountain. For a more leisurely activity, drive just two miles north to Granby Ranch Golf Course to golf the greens or head to downtown Granby, just four and a half miles away, for shops and last-minute necessities.

THINGS TO KNOW
* Building, maintaining, attending, or using an open fire (including grills), either in a campground or at a private residence is not allowed. No outdoor fires unless it is gas and can be turned off.
** As of May 1st, all renters must purchase a $10-day pass via credit card at Ranch Hall to use the facilities. All children 8 and under are free. The pass is good for the entire day. Renters must present documents that show they are staying in a full-benefit member's home in order to purchase a pass. A VRBO/Airbnb or any other type of reservation confirmation with the address of the home will work as proof.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.

Getting in was a mess, we had the room code but not the garage/main door code. Would have helped to have better directions on how to get in. Shower pressure was strong but shower heads in both bathrooms were messed up. Bathroom lighting wasn’t good. So many light switches it was a guessing game of what went to where. Need a blind or something on the front doors. Bed slats were broken on one of the twin beds. Not having an air conditioner sucks and some of the fans provided were broken. Have to pay a fee per day to use the pool is ridiculous! Oh and I was expecting more when it said “Mountain View”

The place was beautiful, clean, large and quality, even for our family of five! All three kids shared a bedroom and it worked out so well, surprisingly. A 15 year old, six and three year old sharing, blew my mind. The only issues were that we could not get into the building upon arrival, the code was not sent to us! Luckily, other tenants let us in and we had the code for our door so that was a catastrophe averted. It could have been MUCH worse though. Also, we had no info sent to us on the care of the unit while we were staying there and no info on what to do upon check-out. Absolutely no contact with the owner was able to be obtained, which was extremely frustrating. We loved the area, activities and view, though, so we were not that upset about it.

The checking process was awful. There were no codes to get into the parking garage or the main building. We arrived later with two very tired kids and had to call the property manager to obtain the codes. Floors were very unclean with Stains everywhere. Beds were not comfortable. Would not stay again

Great location kitchen not so good
The overall stay was great. Location is fantastic as far as getting to and from the lift. Easy parking, heated garage is great. House was clean, furniture was good, pillows are terrible and the pots, pans, and kitchen utensils were horrendous! The pots had no lids, the skillets were worn out, scratched, warped and looked like they were removed from the trash. There were no cooking utensils except 1 worn out spatula and 2 broken wooden spoons. This was a bad situation for us because we rented so we could cook our own meals. We ended up buying the utensils etc we needed and bringing them back home with us. We borrowed 2 pots from a neighboring condo so we could cook supper. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but the place does need some help.

COULD NOT BE BETTER FOR YOUNG FAMILY LEARNING SKI
We could not be happier with this hidden little gem. The fact my kids could learn to ski basically right outside our door could not be beat. What could have been a hectic scenario, turned out to be one of the best family vacations we have had. The lobby made it easy to meet up with other families we went with and the lockers made it nice to not have to drag all our ski stuff to our unit. The restaurant on the grounds was delish. We already booked the same unit for next year. It was clean, cozy and super convenient to the lifts and other buildings.

Overall Nice stay
Home appeared clean at first glance but really could use a super deep clean (fans, cabinets, carpets). Updated patio pictures would also be helpful as the view is mostly gone now with the addition of some new condos directly in front of this unit. The pool and hot tub is an additional charge per day to use those facilities. Overall the house had everything you would need for a stay and we got the condo for a bargain so I could look past some of the cleaning items that needed to be taken care of.

This is a great location & the check in process went very well. We had a few hiccups (no parking pass and no code for the locker), but the property managers were quick to offer solutions. The cleanliness of this unit was not great. It seems there has been a pet in the unit, as we picked up a lot of dog hair on our clothing. Many of dishes we pulled from the cabinet were dirty. We also felt like the unit was lacking in some basic supplies (very few cereal bowls, serving utensils). It would also be helpful to have a rug at the entry way! :). Overall - a great unit and you can't beat the location/proximity to the locker and getting out to the ski slope!

Extremely bad experience
This is was the worst experience ever faced. The property was very badly maintained - there was a extremely pungent unbearable odor when we entered the property and the process to get his changed was a very long and exhausting one. It was extremely difficult to co-ordinate on the phone with Vacasa and the actual property manager , one day of our vacation was wasted in trying to get Vacasa to fix the situation. finally after a long ordeal they gave us a better accomodation within the property . Would recommend to stay away from booking this one.

Great Location and nice condo. Compared to our last vacation rental , this one was very nice but lacked in communication, lacked in quality of linens, and we got charged to use the pool. If you don’t want a/c make sure you clarify that before you rent it.

Presidents weekend stay 2/2021
When we arrived the room was not ready for us to check in. Had to wait 1 hr after we were supposed to originally be able to check in. Condo wasn’t the cleanest. Ceiling fan in master had about 1” hours f dust on it. Bathroom floors were not clean. Towels had a weird powder residue on them that was gritty when you used them to wipe your hands. Chair at dining room table was broken-the arm fell off onto the floor when my husband sat in it. It was apparently propped in place prior to us getting there. Lighting in both bathrooms was not the best. Very dim and noticed light bulbs were out. Carpet was dirty. Crock pot was dirty-had old dried on food left on the outside of it. The condo location was good as right down the hall from Locker room so that was nice and also easy access to slopes.

Roomy yet cozy condo
Excellent condo , we used as base camp for our hiking trips into Rocky Mountain Nat’l Park . We pretty much wanted for nothing. Only a couple of suggestions: the lighting for both bathrooms was quite dim . Maybe the owner can bring in a small lit make up mirror . And pls include valuable suggestions for places to eat & grocery stores to visit , rather than the industry magazine that was provided. Personal recommendations are always better . We didn’t need add’l help , but a posted phone number in the unit is always helpful, rather than rummaging thru prior emails . We hope the community of Granby & Grand Lake stay safe this week! Prayers sent !

Perfect family getaway Highly recommended
My family and I stayed here for 2 nights and it was excellent, the facility has everything you need, from a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, great amenities closeby and peaceful quiet surroundings. The apartment was lovely and really cozy, ideal location during winter as you have ski slops literally 50 yards from your patio. Highly recommended place to stay.
