RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL OWNER OF APARTMENT
Posted Nov. 20, 2019 on HotelsThe apartment is not part of Ocean Villas Hotel and is owned by someone else. On arrival we found our apartment by speaking to the reception at Ocean Villas as there was no one to great us and advise us how payment was to be made. The key was left outside our apartment. We were informed that the owner would contact us and that we would pay the owner.
After 5pm on our last evening there the owner sent his cleaning lady to collect money from us. We did not have any rupees on us and had just got back from a catamaran trip. We told the lady we did not have money right now as we did not know we would have to pay in cash and we asked if she could come back at about 8pm as we would have been able to draw money by then. We were exhausted from our day trip and did not want to go into town immediately. The lady proceeded to phone the owner who was extremely rude to us demanding that we take the lady with and draw the money immediately as she will not leave without the money.
His attitude and the way he treated us was completely unprofessional and he implied that we did not want to pay him yet how were we to pay him if we never even saw him and he never arranged a time for payment.
The accommodation itself was ok for self catering purposes and it was a quick walk to the pool and beach. The apartment could definately be cleaner.
I would definitely not return to this place. The way the owner operates and treats guests is completely unprofessional.

Many thanks for your review. Whilst we appreciate all reviews and comments from all of our guest we also believe that you have fail to mention a few points.
You indicated you will arrive at 4pm the day in your arrival and came late at night without giving us any update. Our representative was waiting for you on the day and when you call to let you know you arrived you apologized for your lateness. We then told you that payment also was due which you were aware that we would collect from you. We failed to get hold of you in the coming days as you were constantly out even having told you that we would be coming. Our maid were there daily but you didn’t leave the money with them either and it was left until last day when we had my maid wait a whole day for you at the hotel until 5pm as you mentioned.
You then inform the maid that you have no funds on you knowing that payment is outstanding since your check in and is asking you to make payment. Then you asked her to come again at 8pm
Which is not possible for her and you had a car to withdraw your funds. As owners we expect payment and clients to inform us of their arrival but you had very poor communication from day one. I sadly don’t know what you expected for us to do as up to your last day you hadn’t paid us. I spoke to your partner who was fully aware of payment needed in cash since check in day and the fact you chose the option to pay onsite instead through Expedia itself online.
Whilst you may be dissatisfied with the manner in which we ask for our payment. I believe as owners we allowed you enough days and had messaged you regularly for collection of payment during your stay. Considering you checked in late without i forming us either I would suggest you to also highlight these issues when leaving a feedback.
Ps: also note that we are not private we belong to the hotel but payments are managed by our company and not the hotel itself. You have access to all facilities like any other guest at the hotel.

Comfortable apartment close to the beach.

Pros: Clean, comfortable room and a lovely private beach.
Cons: Food was very average.
Location: It is well appointment on a bay and very close to other beaches. Restaurants, shops and water sports were all within walking distances.
Generally it was a comfortable hotel with attractive pleasant surrounds. Beach facilities and water sports were good. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to be assist us in any way.

LA MAGGIOR PARTE GESTITA DAL SIG.CLIFFORD , E LE RESTANTI (COME I BUNGALOW N.20 E 21 DOVE SIAMO STATI) GESTITE DA UN ALTRO PRIVATO CHE NON SI E' MAI PRESENTATO E CHE SIAMO RIUSCITI A CONTATTARE SOLTANTO DOPO L' INTERVENTO DELLA POLIZIA DUE GG DOPO IL NOSTRO ARRIVO. Posted Jan. 20, 2019 on HotelsOcean Villans Apartments isäntä oli tosi mukava ja avulias. Järjesti meille kuljettajat ja retket mitä pyysimme. Siisteydessä olisi ollut pikkusen parantamisen varaa. Paikan ravintola oli epäsiisti, mutta me kävimme syömässä kylällä. Huoneiston sijainti oli ok. Allasalue oli erittäin pieni.
