There are alot of stairs but it is worth the view. Breakfast was excellent.

The location overlooking Lk Michigan is incredible. Add in the 'inclined rail car' from the beach to the front porch makes for a unique experience.

Charming property, good service, but could improve
Publié le 19 juin 2023 sur HotelsLooking Glass Beachfront Inn is a charming old house with an excellent location and great views. The owner is very nice and accommodating. The property however is somewhat outdated (even given its age) and could use a bit more TLC - at least when it comes to small details like patio furniture, missing window screen, not so clean bathroom fans, spider webs and dead insects by the windows. The owners could also be more generous with a number of bathroom towels they provide, as the towels simply don't get a chance to fully dry between an evening and a morning shower. The breakfast selection could be better too giving a rather high price tag per night for this property.

Thank you for your recent stay with us and for your review and feedback. We utilize feedback to improve and we apologize for some of the oversights as far as the bath vents and spider webs. We will look into those things to make sure they are overlooked. We lost a couple of the screens in a recent windstorm and have new ones on order but unfortunately, they have not come in yet so I do apologize it was missing. We try to be eco-conscience which is why we only supply 3 towels per room to help reduce unnecessary laundry but will consider more in the future if we have enough feedback. We always offer more or towel exchange if requested. We apologize breakfast did not meet your expectations. We have a page on our website dedicated to our breakfast and what is offered which includes a rotating hot dish each morning. We also offer cereal, oatmeal, fruit, and yogurt. Please feel free to reach out with suggestions on what we could do to improve our breakfast as this aspect as it is a big part of the B&B experience. Thank you again for your stay and feedback.
