Monumental trip

Lana was fantastic meeting us and showing us the house and giving us a history of the place. Sunrises were amazing! Views from every room. Views from kitchen in the morning were my favorite as the sun rose on the monument. Very large house with great appointments and character! Would absolutely recommend and return. The Grand valley is an amazing place to hike, eat and enjoy the wineries! Peche was our favorite restaurant. Best wine was at Colterris. The Coral White Rose was amazing! The overall best view and overall experience was at Restoration Winery. Great hikes were Lower Monument Loop trail, Mica mine trail. Book and enjoy the valley!

We have rented this house every time we go to Grand Junction, we love it that much! Nothing like the privacy and views and unique architecture of this house in all of GJ!

Another Incredible Stay at this Unique House
Publié le 7 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayHad an incredible time with a bunch of friends before a big desert bike trip. We've made stopping by this house a tradition as we acclimate before heading out there. This house is so big and so cool. The bedrooms are all super different yet very comfortable and well cooled.
The outdoor patio's probably where we spent most of our hangout time -- an incredible view as you watch the sun set behind the rock formations.
We got to meet Lana upon checkin who gave us a warm welcome as well as some history on the house -- glad to feel like part of an extended family of regulars :)

We were close in proximity to site-seeing destinations, groceries, shopping, and downtown Grand Junction. Perfect vscation house!

Scenic Views + Unique Architectural Home

The house, itself, is an obviously well loved, creative marvel. It was honestly difficult to get motivated to leave and explore the area instead of just starting at the house to relax the entire time

Grand junction vacation

This is the loveliest, cheerfully kitschy, uniquely rustic style home we've had the pleasure of staying in. It was clean and stocked well. Rooms to comfortably fit all 6 of us. There was something to see in every room. Gorgeous views everywhere you look! Property mgr/owner met us there to go over the quirky heating and cooling which just ads to how much I love this place. The owner was super responsive upon booking and any questions we had.
We come every year for a birthday golf trip. We played Redlands Mesa, Tiara Rado and Devils Thumb. Perfect place to stay and we WILL be back to this home!
