We only had one day to spend on Grand Manan, and Adventure High was the perfect place to end it! Charming little place in the perfect location, with a great view of the sea and only minutes from the ferry. It made us want to stay longer and go on more adventures on the island.

Pros: Ocean view and cleanness. House is very old but we enjoyed our stay. It got everything one need for pleasant stay.
Cons: Upstairs floor makes noise when you walk. This makes one to be cautious as one might disturb fellow guest.

Pros: The room and the Island itself. Plus the staff was helpful

Pros: Comfortable room, very helpful owners/staff, good breakfast, view of water;
Cons: Dinner at the Compass Rose was good, though the "butter chicken" did not resemble anything by that name that we have had before.
Location: Easy to find, near the ferry. Went out with Pete of Sea Watch (Seal Cove) and played with the humpback whales. The Bakery was great for coffee & ...
Kevin & Linda did their utmost to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. We found the room quite wonderful, overlooking the water near North Harbour (not the exact name). While the room is just at the highway and there is a little traffic noise, overall we had a relaxing time. Watched the 20-ft tide come & go; had a wonderful whale-watching outing one day; and explored the whole east side of the island.

Posted Oct. 18, 2015 on ExpediaWe stayed here for one 1 night this past weekend. The room was very clean and comfortable. Great breakfast room with a fantastic view. Linda really cooked a terrific breakfast!
The owners are very helpful, friendly and accommodating.

We enjoyed our rooms with a nice view of the ocean, very clean rooms and very comfortable. We enjoyed our breakfast each morning and along with our hostess serving our meal she came with a big smile! She always had a delicious breakfast to start our day with and as I stated above a positive attitude and a very nice smile. Thank you Compass Rose!
