Molly is an extraordinary host and a joy to talk with.The house is literally a stone's throw from Agate Beach - gorgeous at all times of the day! Perfect for rock hounding & relaxing on the sand. The house is clean, comfortable and cozy. It's well-stocked with everything you'll need. We fell in love with Grand Marais & the surrounding area. The beauty of the UP is extraordinary!

Eight Siblings Annual Get-together
Publié le 9 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayIt was perfect for our reunion! Sharing a house is much better than a hotel and A Stone's Throw was spacious and comfortable, just the right size for the eight of us brothers and sisters. Walking distance to the beach and town was a bonus!

Great location for Lake Superior access

We were able to keep our boat in the bay and the driveway easily accommodated our trailer. The house was nicely stocked with whatever we could’ve needed. We had plenty of everything from toilet paper to firewood!

amazing location!
Publié le 7 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved being able to walk to the beach at the lake. The kids enjoyed using the sand toys provided. It was unusually warm during our stay, but there was enough breeze during the night to cool the house.
The firepit was a relaxing end to our day as well.

Clean and comfortable, great location!

It was nice to have 3 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. Fans in each room which was nice and the futon was comfortable as well for sleeping.
Kitchen was nice and had plenty of counter space to prepare/serve meals. It was also nice to have a drip coffee maker as well as the K cup.
The sensor light between the bedroom off the kitchen and the bathroom/laundry room was a great idea!
* If I had 1 thing to recommend, it would be to put a hand rail on the steps that go up to the deck to the dining room as my mom is 86 and was a little difficult for her.
It was a very nice place to stay and would definitely stay again. Thank you for having us.
