Great location.

Hello Nancy. I am glad you and your sister had a fun time in Grand Marais. I am sorry you were not toasty warm, I hope you saw that there are two different furnaces for the house (and also two thermostats) and the master bedroom also has baseboard heat for the bedroom and bathroom. Molly is an extraordinary host and a joy to talk with.The house is literally a stone's throw from Agate Beach - gorgeous at all times of the day! Perfect for rock hounding & relaxing on the sand. The house is clean, comfortable and cozy. It's well-stocked with everything you'll need. We fell in love with Grand Marais & the surrounding area. The beauty of the UP is extraordinary!

Eight Siblings Annual Get-together
Publié le 9 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayIt was perfect for our reunion! Sharing a house is much better than a hotel and A Stone's Throw was spacious and comfortable, just the right size for the eight of us brothers and sisters. Walking distance to the beach and town was a bonus!

Great location for Lake Superior access

We were able to keep our boat in the bay and the driveway easily accommodated our trailer. The house was nicely stocked with whatever we could’ve needed. We had plenty of everything from toilet paper to firewood!

amazing location!
Publié le 7 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved being able to walk to the beach at the lake. The kids enjoyed using the sand toys provided. It was unusually warm during our stay, but there was enough breeze during the night to cool the house.
The firepit was a relaxing end to our day as well.
