Great winter getaway!
Publié le 30 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayWonderfully warm and welcoming home perfect for our weekend ski getaway. For our group of 7 perfectly with beds to spare and gave us access to both downhill and cross country skiing closeby. Loved getting to visit in the barn during morning milking too!

A home away from home

With the farmyard out the back, getting to help milk cows in the morning, sounds of the country, and a view of Lake Superior from the farm, you couldn’t ask for anything better! Just an absolutely beautiful home, setting, and gem of a host! Lyndsay is the absolute sweetest host and so down to earth- it was a pleasure visiting with her while milking the cows! The home is absolutely stunning and the whole experience of staying here is absolutely wonderful!

Ole Girls Get-A-Way
Publié le 1 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe have a group of St. Olaf alums (or alum connections) who have been going away for a girls' weekend for 38 years. This was the 1st time for some of our group to visit Grand Marais, however, the farm was a wonderful new experience for all of us. What was once a grandparent's home on the farm has been totally remodeled and updated - it is first class and charming! We loved it all - the wonderfully decorated "farm" interior, a fully equipped kitchen, great beds, luxurious towels, the lake view in the distance, and the ambiance of the farm with the herd of cows roaming near by. The host couldn't have been more welcoming, it was a trip to treasure and remember.

Long weekend

Perfect place to rest, let the kids explore outside and meet the farm animals. The house has everything to make us feel comfortable and the family enjoyed meeting everyone working at the farm. We will be back again sooner than later!

Sisters and mom getaway!
Publié le 8 sept. 2024 sur HomeAway6 sisters, 1 sister in law and our mom had a fabulous weekend enjoying this amazing property on a working farm out of Grand Marais. The house was perfect and was beautifully decorated and stocked with everything we could have needed. We enjoyed the property trails, cows, chickens, goats, sheep and donkey! We even milked a cow! Lindsay was the best host ever! Loved it!

Fantastic stay on the farm

The house was beautiful and had everything we needed, plus well thought out additions like coloring books and pencils for the kids, games and books. The view of the lake was an added bonus. Lyndsay was the most amazing host. We spent quite a bit of time tagging along with her and learning about the farm. Our kids didn’t want to leave and are begging us to go back. We all had a wonderful time and look forward to returning. I highly recommend staying here!

Bathrooms were really nice and super soft towels. We love the country, the farm, the animals and Lyndsay! Definitely recommend this place and hope to get back on the future!
