Amazing Thanksgiving in Grand Marais!
Posted Dec. 2, 2024 on HomeAwayWe booked the SkyHouse for Thanksgiving, and we had an amazing time! The views from the property are spectacular. It is comfortable, and it has one of the best stocked kitchens I've seen at a rental. Also, be sure to book the sauna while you are there. It's a separate booking process, and it is worth it! We can't wait to go back!

Incredible house

Sky House - Grand Marais

Long art weekend getaway
Posted Sep. 30, 2024 on HomeAwayMy adult daughter and I enrolled in a painting class at the North House Folk Art School. This property was right up the hill! The ease of getting back and forth to the school was amazing ... but not as amazing as the property itself. The beautiful views were maximized in every room on every level. The living room/dining room/kitchen space was thoughtfully designed and the kitchen was very well-appointed. Everything was squeaky clean and there were thoughtful touches throughout -- large storage units with extra blankets, etc., fresh flowers on the table, a brand-new sponge in the kitchen, etc. The towels were fluffy, the beds warm and cozy and the hosts were very clear and communicative. We loved this space and will absolutely be back! Thanks so much!
