This house was perfect for me and my two angsty teens who want their own space and, occasionally, shared space. We could spread out and be cozy together. So many nice spaces - the couch/fireplace, the deck/firepit, the water/another fire pit. Additionally, the beds were comfortable, the place was immaculate when we arrived, and the water pressure/temperature was better than at home.
Our little dog loved chasing frogs around the yard. I was a little nervous about being so close to the road, but he stayed close. If you have a dog who bolts or does not come when called, I would not stay here. Also, note that it is about a 3 minute walk down to the water. This is lovely for just walking, but if you're planning on taking kayaks/paddle boards, note that you will have to drag them down there. If you have multiple adults, which I did not, you could drop them in at the boat launch just around the corner and paddle over to the property's dock. This would have been much easier than dragging the boats, but I didn't want my kids on the water alone.
I had to work remotely the week we stayed, but the internet was fantastic. I had no issues whatsoever and utilize quite a bit of bandwidth when I am working. My only recommendations for the owners would be more silverware and maybe leave condiments in the fridge? We ended up having to buy ketchup, mustard, etc. But overall, this place was amazing, and I would love to go again!
