Review of Hampton Inn, Grand Rapids South

The hand faucet in the bathroom was terrible. Abdollah, a kind and friendly guy at the front desk, said you are re-doing all the sinks because this is an ongoing problem: as it is, we could scarcely use it. Please replace. Initial supplies of towels is way under-planned: thanks that you gave us some more on request. Breakfast was ok but kind of mediocre as compared with Hampton Inns in general. Safety and cleanliness were sufficient, thank you. Pool was closed (?)

Nice and clean. The bath towels were the size of a hand towel though and a large person would be uncomfortable with the size of the shower. Box spring for the mattress, but comfortable. The pool was great!

It was comfortable to support the reason for this business trip. I needed an adjustment for an extra day, which had been overlooked in my office. While they wanted to help, I was unable to get the additional booking through Expedia as it would not allow things to be altered. So I had to pay full price for the extra stay. This was more an issue trying to make the change with Expedia. The facility did what they could and arranged for us to stay in the same room.

Tahya and Maddison checked us in and they were beyond amazing. Not only did they take care of checking us in but made excellent recommendations about places to dine. Monellli’s was fantastic! Everything the 4 of us ordered was beyond amazing!! Breakfast was hot and delicious. When food ran out, they were quickly replaced. Rooms spotless. Best ever shower. Modern room with many outlets for all the electronics. Microwave, decent good sized fridge. Very clean. Location great. 6 stars out of 5!!!
