The new manager Chantal introduced herself our first night stay. Very personable. What a great team this hotel has. From start to finish we were treated as valued guests. The room was spotless, price was right!

What a terrible experience. We booked a second night through Expedia and was told at check in that our reservations had been combined. Not true. On the second day of our stay, my spouse was told that we had to pay for the second night. So, we paid twice for the second night and cannot get a refund from Expedia or Spring Hill Suites. It’s a nice facility but not at twice the price.

It was very loud. The hotel is on a very busy road and the road noice was terrible. It sounded like the windows were open. We all had trouble sleeping. We asked to switch rooms on the other side of the hotel and they said since we booked on a third party site (Expedia) we didn’t qualify to switch rooms. They didn’t even have ear plugs to give us. Very disappointed.

We had a great stay. There was five of us and we had plenty of beds. We used the pool and the gym. Both were very well maintained and clean. The pool was open from 6 am to 11 pm which was very convenient. The breakfast was a standard hotel breakfast with plenty options. The only downside was we didn't receive any cleaning services in the three days we were there. But it's not a deal breaker. We would definitely stay there again if we are in Grand Rapids again. Overall excellent.
