Great visit
Publié le 30 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayCheck in was an easy, house was exactly as pictured, very clean and lots of little extras that were greatly appreciated. Only criticism was the bed was very very firm, just not my preferred style. Great place if I visit Grand Rapids again I would rent this house again. Lots of stuff restraints …. Near by.

Labor Day wedding weekend
Publié le 6 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a wonderful stay. We were there for a wedding on Labor Day weekend. The house was in a perfect location for all the festivities we needed to attend.
Pre-check in communication with Tracey were answered promptly. The house had everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you.

Family Vacay
Publié le 12 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay here. We didn’t read close enough to the description to notice that the 2 queens were upstairs, and my mother-in-law has bad knees, so my in-laws ended up sleeping on the twin day bed & pull out trundle downstairs. The stairs are pretty steep and I slipped down a couple once or twice. I made my 3 year olds sit down on the stairs to go down. It was pretty warm upstairs but not unbearable (temps outside were in the 80s and the thermostat was downstairs). The beds were comfortable and it was super clean. The shower downstairs was pretty small & the upstairs shower didn’t have a ton of water pressure. Multiple TVs though out the house was a nice touch along with an assortment of snacks and games. The location was pretty close to all the things we wanted to see in Grand Rapids (children’s museum, zoo, & sculpture gardens).

Nice, but fell short on a few items
Publié le 29 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayHouse listed with 2 Q beds and 4 twins. The Q's were comfortable but, there were 2 twin beds and a day bed. One twin was a metal cot and the other leaned towards the wall and was not level or stable. The day bed was not comfortable as well. There were 6 adults, and the bedding was a problem. The upstairs blinds did not have rods and could not turn open or be closed by hand. The master was missing the covering on the ceiling light revealing exposed bulbs. The outdoor furniture was filthy and we had to wash it before use, the yard was not ready for summer use and there was no wood for the firepit. However, the house was clean and well designed with an industrial vibe. Kitchen was nice with a cute coffee bar area, and the living room and furniture was comfortable. Would have given 5 stars if not for the above comments.

Good morning Kreg. Wow I'm in shock. We have been blessed with guests that really go out of their way to enjoy the space and our city. To clarify; the Day bed has a new twin mattress on it and another one UNDER it. The twin bed upstairs has a metal frame they are not cots. The other twin "leans" on the wall is a statement I do not understand. The 2 blinds rod were broken off by the previous guest and we didn't have time to reinstall since you have to replace the whole blind. We left them up to block sunlight. Our apologies. As far as the outdoor space. We don't advertise anything about providing grill nor fire-pit. They are strictly on the site for people to use or not use. The furniture was cleaned but it stormed for 2 days prior to your arrival. Sorry the home did not meet your expectation.

Beautiful Home! Super Clean! Very Pleasant Stay!
Publié le 20 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayRented this VRBO for a girls weekend away in Grand Rapids. There were five of us; we were very comfortable in this lovely home. The location was close to downtown for a quick drive to dinner, Meijers Gardens and to see the Lantern Show at the John Ball Zoo. We enjoyed our time just sitting in the living room catching up. We would definitely stay here again.

Guys Weekend
Publié le 8 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed here for our annual guys weekend. It was a good location for checking out all the breweries in Grand Rapids and pretty close to a lot of restaurants. House was as advertised and there were a lot of nice touches included like snacks, coffee, and lots of towels.

Wonderful family space
Publié le 14 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was our home base for a wedding weekend. Ourselves and four adult children had plenty of room and space to spread out. Updated and decorated very nicely. Kitchen space was fabulous. Very well equipped with lots of surprise extras. Wish they had larger dining table, but the stools at the kitchen island added extra seating. We did not use the back yard, but is fenced & has a nice outdoor eating space and fire pit. Not a fancy neighborhood but very close to local bars & restaurants and a 5 minute drive to downtown GR. Highly recommend.
