This was a great place for someone, wanting to learn more about a working cattle ranch and the processing of cattle. However, it is not a great place for someone who wants to experience, Wilderness, or undeveloped ,wildlife areas and smell the aspens end spruce.

great close getaway from Boise-a world apart!

Sunrises and Sunsets
Publié le 22 août 2023 sur HomeAwayTruly a little slice of heaven. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets to be seen sitting on the wrap around porch. Melissa was wonderful to work with. Will stay there again next time we visit our son in Mountain Home. Just a 25 minute drive away.

Stay at Grand View

Cattle pastures surround the house which is on the opposite side of the quiet road from the main farmhouse. Further down the road ibis and other interesting birds can be sighted. The area is very rural. The house has a room with ping pong table and darts, great for everyone.
There is a central air conditioning, which one needs in summer as it gets very hot.
The kitchen is very spacious and has lots of room
but the pans need to be replaced, as the teflon is all cratched.
A very nice place to be.

Clean and roomy home in the country

Host was friendly and responsive, including when our plans changed unexpectedly.
The ping pong table was a fun diversion for us too!
