Très bon rapport qualité prix pour cette villa bien située, au calme, fonctionnelle et adaptée. Les propriétaires Giovanna et Francesco sont très disponibles et prévenants. Maison propre et chambre spacieuses.

Such a great location

Stayed here with family for 4 nights. Simply amazing villa with so many cool things. A tad rustic in some ways but it’s really part of the charm of the property. Our host was super friendly and helpful and even took us for dinner and groceries upon arrival. The drive to the property is a bit tricky and takes some getting used to, but adds to the experience and charm. I can not wait to come back to this property.

A piece of heaven, a real home away from home

The location is absolutely stunning: you can see the Mediterranean Sea and Etna from your balcony. Very quiet and peaceful neighbourhood and our hosts were one minute walk away. They made us feel so welcome, even invited us to their own home and shared their home produced, wonderful red wine. Francesco has brought us a wonderful cake, gave us eggs (he has a few chickens and rabbits). Giovanna and Francesco both gave us accurate and very helpful information, so we could enjoy everything Sicily offers - amazing local market, cultural and architectural highlights, the best beaches and even a local running trail in the pine forest of Graniti. Francesco and Giovanna have been the best hosts. We highly recommend their villa if you want to have the perfect base to explore Sicily. The air conditioning, the pool, well kitted out kitchen all helped to make or stay a beautiful holiday.

Großartige Gastgeber und schöne Lage

Wir haben hier sehr schöne Oktoberferien als fünfköpfige Familie genossen: Baden im Meer; Klettern am Ätna und in den Schluchten; Dorffest; ... Die Gastgeber habe uns mit tollen Tipps (Pizza und Arrancini in Gaggi) und eigenem Wein (sehr gut) versorgt .

Prachtig sfeervol vakantiehuis

We werden zeer gastvrij verwelkomd door de eigenaren met druiven en zelfgemaakte wijn. De communicatie voorafgaand en tijdens het verblijf verliep uitstekend. De tuin met ligstoelen onder olijfbomen en het uitzicht (zelfs de Etna) was prachtig. Er waren in deze periode wel muggen, maar dankzij de horren niet in het huisje. De toegangsweg is met een 7 persoons Dacia goed te doen, maar de eerste keer steil omhoog vanaf de grote weg was even spannend. We hebben het erg naar ons zin gehad en kunnen dit vakantiehuis iedereen aanraden!

Dejlig Italiensk hus

Skønt hus i Italiensk stil. Gode terrasser til soldyrking men også nogle til læ for regn og sol. Ligger ad meget stejl vej, så større biler er det nærmest ikke muligt at komme op af vejen med. Tæt på mange seværdigheder.

Peace and tranquility in the mountains.

Well located property for touring the area (Etna Nord and Taormina) and away from the crowds but easy access to the main roads. Excellent facilties to cater for all your needs especially the pool to cool down in. Flexible property able to accommodate large groups. Whilst steep road to access the property it is okay after you have done it once. We had a Jeep Renegade which was just right for size. 2WD is fine also though. Francesco and Giovanna were excellent hosts and on hand if needed and were great tour guides! We had a wonderful 5 days and even managed a day trip to Syracuse. Thank you. Bella esperienza

Abbiamo passato tre giorni a cavallo del capodanno in questa casa. La zona è molto bella perché permette in poco tempo di raggiungere il mare, l' Etna o posti come Taormina e Castelmola. Eravamo con due coppie di amici, noi con figli. La casa ci ha permesso di condividere spazi comuni come la cucina-soggiorno, la veranda, l'esterno (molto bello, con ulivi e aranci), riuscendo a ritagliarci al tempo stesso spazi nostri grazie alla divisione delle stanze su due piani. Casa ben attrezzata e padroni di casa, la signora Giovanna e il signor Francesco, disponibili e con noi davvero molto gentili. Felici della scelta.

Amazing house

Amazing house with perfect location and a very nice view. The landlord was very nice and helpful and the house was perfect for a big family (equipped with everything you needed). To get to the house you had to drive up a steep hill on a narrow road (which was no problems but I would recommend a smaller car). I would very much recommend this house and landlord!

Perfect property with stunning views

Brilliant week and friendly hosts. Positives: - Sitting outside watching smoke from Etna River canyon park just up the road Friendly, helpful hosts Negatives: - I wouldn't fancy driving up the road to the property in winter months. Its fine in Summer once you realise that you need to go up in first gear with you foot down to the floor.

Thank you for your review. About the street: we live here the whole year, so we go up and down without problems. It's difficult if it snows (here rarely and only for few hours) or there's a water storm . In the end just put the first gear and go. Regards
