We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Rooms were comfortable and the dining experience was great. Many other dining options and shopping all within a stone’s throw.

We picked our location first and narrowed the choice of hotel to the Grant Arms and one other. We chose the GAH because it was an old, established hotel with a great reputation and ticked all our boxes. The staff were brilliant, great views & food and a well stocked bar.

We had a wonderful overnight stay at The Grant Arms. The Staff are amazing and we received a warm welcome with our dog. The room was very comfortable and clean. We ate in the bar and the menu was exceptional The food was delicious and the bar staff very helpful and made. A big fuss of Mack our dog. We will be returning.

Decent enough and fairly priced, nice location

From the drunken revellers streaming down the high st at midnight, to the loud 1am lovemaking of the couple in the next room returning from a night out, to the early morning coachload of guests getting collected outside at about 6am, it was like they were in the room with us!
The bed was ok, not the best but not the worst. Bathroom was nice enough but was the rainfall type only, rather than a choice, which is a bit of a compromise in a small space.
All the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful.
