Check in staff told me that there was no such thing as a one bedroom suite with a solid door between the bedroom and the living room, even though I’d called ahead and someone on staff did tell me exactly which room to reserve for exactly this feature. They even argued with me about it and implied that I was the one who made the mistake. Then when we entered the room lo and behold there was a door. Front desk staff should know basic room inventory and features and avoid gaslighting guests if they are poorly informed.

Good morning Marina, Let me first Thank you for choosing to stay with us here at the Holiday Inn Express - Grants Pass and expressmy deepest apologies you were made to feel the way you did. I have spoken with our agents and althoughwe are aware of the features and offerings at our property as noted in your review and we were able to guide you a room with that feature, there is an agent who was not aware fully of our room features which caused this incidentat check-in. Everything is good except the upper floor (I am on second floor) have strong noise when people walking.

Could use a remodel
Publié le 14 juill. 2024 sur HotelsThe beds were very comfortable and the staff was friendly. However the hotel is old and the standard lower than other Holiday Inn Express hotels. There was some mold in the ceiling in the shower, and no bathroom fan. The power went out several times during our stay- don’t know if it was an internal problem or if it was in the neighborhood due to the heat. The refrigerator turned off most likely because of the power outage.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us on your recent trip to Grants Pass. We appreciate it very much and we appreciate the amazing review. We understand we are slightly dated and are planning a remodel soon! We have had some power outages and none were due to issues within the hotel. I was not aware of multiple outages but two in the span of a couple of weeks for about an hour each time. The Power Company responded to return power to area effected. Thank you again and we look forward to your next visit so we can continue to earn your business in Grants Pass.
