I always stay here for the event I attend. All the facilities are great - they even added a small refrigerator this year to the room. Very clean. My only delay was checking in. They were short staffed and I had to wait about 10 minutes to get a clerk to check me in as she was working at another station in the restaurant.

This could be a charming place to stay, it has character and is in a nice setting. While we like to support local businesses, these businesses must be safe and maintained. The carpet was filthy throughout, the bed sheets did not fit the bed and the pillows were old. But the worst thing was the kitchen exhaust vents were very strong smelling and filled the room to a level that made me light-headed. Our neighbor's room did not have a smoke detector installed. Our room window looked out onto a roof top of unmaintained and filthy roof kitchen exhaust vents. When the kitchen opened at 6am it was like sleeping on top of a jet engine. The food - which had a high rating - was average, and they charged us for coffee refills! If you want to run a hotel, then you have to invest to maintain it in a safe manner. This place has had little to no maintenance in a number of years.
