Perfect Lake Side Stay

Family gathering
Publié le 8 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a small family reunion. The property was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of rooms and space for us all. Wrap around porch was shaded and cool, perfect for morning coffee with a great view of the lake. Boathouse/dock was perfect for swimming and fishing. Enough kayaks and life jackets for all. We had a wonderful time. Highly recommended!

Labor Day Family Trip

The landscape of the home was absolutely gorgeous and the kayaks were so much fun! We would definitely recommend this home. The host was very accommodating and offered solutions for parking for our large family. We had several other inconveniences (for the host) that they were more than happy to help with. I can’t say enough about how perfect our stay was!

Multi Gen Family

Publié le 20 févr. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe were in the area for my father’s celebration of life and needed a spot that was large enough to accommodate our entire family of 16 as we all wanted to be under one roof. This place easily accommodated us all allowing for space for privacy as needed. Given that we had four families this was important. The views were beautiful as well. The kids did complain about the weakness of the internet but it was kind of nice to be off grid so to speak. Perhaps our only complaints were the lack of enough towels for all of us, at least where we could find them, and the distance to a grocery store. Otherwise, it was excellent and allowed us to lay our father to rest in a peaceful way without worry that we’d need to be spread out all over the area and could all be together. Thanks y’all!

Thanks for the review Jonathan. There are 22 sets of bath towels, face clothes and hand towels hanging and in the linen closets in the bathrooms. I can only assume you didn’t see them.
We are rural and internet can be a battle. We have two internet services per house and usually they work well unless gaming or everyone watching videos. Our hands are tied beyond that 😁
The stores including Walmart are 11 miles away. In all honesty I often tell folks we had a store in Houston 3 miles from our home that took longer to get to. It’s all a mindset. Lol

I loved staying at Lakeside!

It's a great place for the family and friends to get away from it all and reconnect with each other. There is plenty of room to all be together without being on top of each other.

Family Vacation

Awesome lake house!
Publié le 1 mai 2022 sur HomeAwayOur Girl Scouts troop and moms had an amazing time at this lake house! The girls kayaked and swam all day, loved the loft/bunk bed area. There was plenty of room for our large group, and especially loved the wraparound deck with so many tables and chairs. The house had everything we needed and was so comfortable. We would absolutely stay there again!

Lakeside 2022
Publié le 14 mars 2022 sur HomeAwayWe had a wonderful time ! The house and property were the cleanest of any place we've ever stayed. We loved every part of what the property had to offer - inside space, outside space, fire pit, kayaks, skiff, etc. We even took long walks around the area. Too cold to go swimming but I'm sure the lake is inviting in the summer. The house is so spacious and it was such a luxury to have room for 5 familieis worth of stuff : )
