We stayed here for a family wedding in the area. It was very nice and clean the staff was very friendly!

Wonderful hotel. Staff were great, clean comfortable room. Walkable to lots of shopping and food.

First, the hotel is beautiful, and clean inside. The gentleman who served drinks and breakfast is wonderful!! My complaint (and I'll offer suggestions) ... 1. You charged $65 for my dog, but you have NO pet area outside...is my dog supposed to pee and poop in the room?? Can you just create a grassy space, 20x30 would be enough, so we don't have to leave the property to walk the dog? 2. There were 2 different homeless men living in your parking lot ..yes, on hotel property in the parking lot. We had no idea if they were dangerous. Your community can offer low cost housing assistance, help finding employment, mental health care or help with addictions. If those men refuse help, take them to JAIL!!! Your guests should not have to worry about being attacked, or having their vehicle broken into. We choose to stay in your town so we could feel safe... I think we were mistaken.

Hi Rhonda - thanks for your review! I'm disappointed to know that you didn't enjoy your stay! Most of our guests traveling with pets enjoy exploring our downtown area as well as the numerous walking trails and parks nearby, but knowing that you had a broken leg, I understand having a designated area for your pet would have been beneficial for your visit. We often encourage our guests to use the landscaping areas within our parking lot.At this time, it is difficult to determine if the men you saw in our parking lot were homeless, but if you felt unsafe, had you notified one of our team members, we would have gladly called the police department to have them removed (and arrested) immediately. Our guest's safety and security are of our upmost concerns, and we have zero tolerance for trespassers. I do appreciate your feedback and wish you all the best in your future travels!

This is the second time I stay at the Gold Miners Inn. The first time was about 4 years ago and I had a great experience. I didn’t expect it to look the same 4 years later. A lot of hotels deteriorate throughout the years but you can tell this one is taken care of. It’s one of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed at and I’ve stayed at A LOT. The staff is friendly, there’s easy parking, and it’s quiet. Loved it.
