We liked being out in the middle of nowhere so much to see without having to go into a town some of the most scenic views imaginable!!!

Nice quaint area beautiful scenery and quiet. Communication needs to be better with check in and out. We were confused on location and how to enter and exit the cabin. There were no communication or guidelines/instructions on anything in the bunkhouse that was referring to anything.
We had issues with the swamp cooler, oven was really dirty and need to be cleaned, bathroom was dirty, light bulb needed new ones for outside they didn’t turn on, bbq need to be cleaned out, need more wash rags and I had to dig to find them.
Cute place and great trails around the area. Just needs to be updated and better communication.

Quiet Retreat
Publié le 26 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is the perfect place to stay if you want a quiet retreat away from all the hustle and bustle of Medora but still close enough to visit Theodore Roosevelt National Park North and South Units. Our family of 6 had a very comfortable stay here, and our hosts were wonderful! We were about an hour away from the South Unit and only 20 minutes from the North Unit (which was definitely our family’s favorite). We would absolutely stay here again if visiting in the future. Don’t hesitate to book this gem!

Fun location. Remote and private!

Complete kitchen made it convenient to cook meals and save on eating out. 4 double bunk beds gave lots of room for sleeping options. The water heater is not big and allows for one shower at a time…unless you conserve water. Grills were an issue…but we figured them out. Nice views of the badlands in the back yard area. Would recommend if you like quiet and remote places and don’t mind the drives to the tourist spots.

Simple, clean, quiet and smack dab between all of the places we wanted to visit (family land north of WC, Medora and the north and south units of the national park. Plenty of hot water plus a propane fire pit for s’mores for the kids as well! I would recommend and I’d stay again!!

Remote location but close to north loop
