A peaceful getaway!

QUIET! And was just what I needed ! Older property that has been upgraded. Cute beach theme. Loved the fire 🔥 place and if I was staying longer would have brought wood and utilized it! Had originally booked beach cabin but they were a long walk to beach and could not see beach from them. So they kindly moved me to a room in the hotel portion that allowed us to hear the waves and walk to each easily. This is a great place to decompress and relax. Able To drive onto beach just 2 blocks away.

I booked a cabin room thinking we would be able to see the ocean but it was near the main road. There was a beach building that did have limited ocean views and we did change rooms however it was $90 upgrade. We would not have stayed if we weren’t able to get this room.
It was an old motel and the room had been updated but pretty much a miss mash. The king bed was comfortable but it was on a platform so you almost needed a stool toget in bed and the night stands were so low next to the bed itt was hard to use them. The bathroom had a jacuzzi tub but the toilet was so old and sat so low it was really awkward. No we would not stay there again for the price we paid.

When we got to the property we were a little worried. I like to stay at places that are a step up from my own home. I definitely did not get a good vibe. The cabins were inhabited by people who actually live there-that was obvious. We took the long road to the isolated ocean front building and the parking lot was empty. I have seen this is horror movies where you were running for your life in the middle of the night! This was a last minute weekend get away where we wanted to stay in Ocean Shores but due to the Rod Run places were booked up. We braved this experience though and DO NOT REGRET IT! The room was cozy and quiet. The king size bed was perfect and the kitchen was full of everything you needed. It was cute with a fireplace and a table for two as it overlooked the ocean. Everything was so clean. There was a balcony with chairs so you could take in the sights and smells all the Pacific has to offer. There was a trail to the beach which was not crowded and we found so many sand dollars-whole ones! We truly enjoyed our stay and will be back. This is a prime example of never judge a book by it’s cover.

Maybe under new ownership - outside surroundings were less than average. Inside our cabin had been recently updated and it was very nice, clean, tastefully decorated. A short walk to the beach which was nice. Very quiet area.

Our stay was amazing! I got the best deal on Hotels.com. The manager at our property was friendly and kind and gave me excellent recommendations on where to eat.
We stayed at the beach house. The driveway to it is gorgeous with the trees leaning down. As close to the beach as you can get. The path down to the beach was easy to access and beautiful. The beach itself, as always, continues to be my favorite place in the world.
The room was immaculate. The bathroom was gorgeous With a jetted tub. The bad was super comfortable. I loved our back porch. Pro tip. I would leave the back porch door open at night to keep the cool air Coming in. Absolutely incredible. We will definitely be coming back.

Clean, beautiful rooms and comfy, warm beds. Front desk staff was quick and friendly. Quick access to the beach was a big plus.
The only drawback we had was that the outside light came on at night and there was no way to turn it off. The blinds and curtains help, but it was a little bit brighter than we prefer when sleeping, but it was a very small drawback to an otherwise wonderful time.
