Even though I arrived just before cyclone Gabrielle hit.. it was a very, very special experience ..

Fun and cosy!
Publié le 31 mars 2022 sur HomeAwayCute little caravan tucked amongst the trees. Really fun vibe and lots of vintage items in caravan to go with era. Despite super strong SW winds it felt protected and cosy sitting on the deck watching the huge waves roll in! Short walk to General Store, Coffee Shop and Irish Pub. Yummy coffee and had a great dinner at Pub.

Glamping
Publié le 2 avr. 2021 sur HomeAwayQuaint and peaceful. Could not get my car up the steep drive but host happened to come along and took me to the caravan with my luggage.
Also got a lift down on leaving. Very kind and helpful hosts. The toilet flushknob broke but was fixed promptly once reported. Bring a brolly to get from caravan to bathroom when raining.

Transport from Sealink or aircraft must be able to deliver the guest to the door.

Even having your own 4wd small SUV would make all the difference.

Publié le 19 mai 2019 sur HomeAwayWe have given 5 stars for cuteness, (surprising) warmness, ease of booking and fantastic directions, great location (few minutes walk to the store/Irish pub and tranquility. Although the bathroom is just outside the caravan, this is no problem and only adds to the experience. (Great hot shower). We stay at a lot of places and always keep a look out for places that have been made with vision and love. This ticks the boxes. Although we were there in late May, I imagine sitting on the deck chairs looking through the trees to the water beyond on a summer’s evening would be fantastic! Marc and Margareth
