Escape from home oasis

We felt like we were in our own little private world with everything we would ever need and then some. I highly recommend staying here! We will definitely go back.

Anniversary getaway
Publié le 28 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe truly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The view was beautiful and peaceful. We loved the various deck levels - especially the observation deck. Just after a rain storm, a beautiful rainbow appeared across the mountain. Even when it rained, the view out from inside was still beautiful. I think we played over 50 games at the pool table, enjoyed a morning in the hot-tub, took advantage of the smart TV and internet access for entertainment. One morning I was able to get a video of two red foxes playing together outside the cabin. We saw many bird species. The beds were very comfortable and even though there are some other houses in the area, it was very private and quiet. Close to Berkeley Springs for restaurants and anything we could need. The only thing one should know is the water has a very sulfur smell. Didn't bother my husband as much as it did me but it certainly didn't take away from the enjoyment of the trip. We took bottles water for drinking. Thank you to the owners for allowing us to celebrate 48 years of marriage in your lovely, little paradise!

Second time

Eating meals on the deck overlook listening to the birds is great. Bed downstairs is very comfy, haven't used upstairs room. Already looking for dates in the fall!
