About this property

Luxury Scandinavian lodge with HOT TUB situated on golf resort

Situated on Caldecott Hall Country Park, which has a golf and leisure complex which includes:
18 hole golf course, The Barnworks has indoor pool (day passes £4.20 per day) please check opening hours as they vary throughout the year. Clubhouse with bar and food, quaint cafe and gift shop which opens at varied times during the year. Redwings horse and donkey sanctuary which is onsite and free to enter. Close to Norfolk broads and beaches.

The lodge itself is in a stunning position, overlooking the golf course and the duck pond directly behind it. We have lovingly renovated The Duck House, it is cosy and inviting with plenty of living accommodation arranged over two floors. Downstairs, is an entrance hall, the open plan kitchen dining area, the second bedroom is located downstairs with a shower room and the utility. Upstairs is a very large lounge with views overlooking the golf course and balcony with seating and loungers. The master bedroom is to the front of the house with an en-suite shower room.

Outside is a covered dining and seating area with the hot tub.

The Duck House
The property is just as pictured if not better. Gorgeous location, lovely and quiet but only 12 minutes drive to the beach. The house has a lovely airey relaxed feel to it and the hot tub is gorgeous. Emma the host is very helpful with any queries. We would definitely recommend

A little piece of heaven
The Duck House is a gorgeous property, spacious, comfortable, well equipped and really clean. It's location on the site is tranquil and picturesque. Good restaurant on site where we enjoyed a tasty breakfast. Only slight downside was lack of shop in walking distance . Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 3 nights and everything was perfect. Lovely property, well maintained and lots of lovely touches. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub which was wonderful. Beautiful surroundings, quiet and peaceful: just what we needed. Will definitely stay again.

The duck house
Absolutely loved our stay. Highly recommend and will tell friends and family about this wonderful place the lodge is lovely and clean and everything you need for a family. The golf resort has some great walks and the redwings horse and donkey sanctuary is perfect for little ones, the swimming pool and the lodges hot tub are perfect additions. The duck pond behind over looking the golf course is beautiful at any time of the day. The granddaughter loved feeding the ducks

So Relaxing
Had a fabulous weekend here, the weather wasn't great but it didn't matter because The Duck House has everything you need with the added bonus of a hot tub thats under cover. The view across the golf course is relaxing and the area very quiet. Emma is a fabulous host and the property is clean and comfortable. We would love to come back.
