This is the best place you can stay in Kefalonia hands down. And for the price?! Incredible. Only place ON THE BEACH in the island. You can wake up and ocean is right outside your window. Stelio and Irini are the kindest best hosts. Also you will have EVERYTHING you need in your room. So amazing. Best stay. Thank you Stelio and Irini! ❤️❤️❤️

The amazing family who run the Ammos Residence can not do enough for you. Such lovely warm engaging people and will do all possible to make your stay enjoyable. The property right on the beach, water crystal clear and although right by the airport, quiet and gorgeous.
We will certainly be returning as soon as possible!

Cleaner every other day, Spotless.
Air con excellent, very comfortable bed .
Airport noise is not a problem.
Airport is very convenient.
Directly on the beach 🏖 superb bbq area at the back for personal use .
Very safe area , met different people, solo , couples & families from all over the world.
Peace & quiet. Car essential but u could make do with small bar on beach which serves basic lunches, salads , sarnies , cheese burgers, alcohol of course.
Nearest taverna 1k away and nearest busy area 10 mins in car as are supermarkets.
Sea is great for children, and don’t forget the turtles.
Overall this place is a little gem .

Perfect place to laze on the beach
Publié le 17 avr. 2018 sur HotelsThe location is very close to the islands airport but there are very few flights so this isn’t a problem. The accommodation consists of 14 apartments all with balconies and sea views facing west so perfect sunset views. The rooms are adequately furnished with a lot of thought around extras such as kitchen utensils, bread basket etc. The bathroom is well presented with an excellent shower, very powerful and easy to adjust the temperature. Housekeeping go above and beyond to make your stay pleasurable and nothing is too much trouble. The wonderful host Stelios has a wealth of ideas and recommendations and his catchphrase seems to be “no problem” and nothing is. He organised a car for us, recommended restaurants, advised what dishes and wine to try and it was spot on every time. Sunloungers are on the beach and the sea is easy to enter here with a gentle gradient and lovely warm waters even in April! Overall we had a fabulous stay and can’t wait to go back. Perfect for lazy relaxation on the beach and down time from the hustle and bustle of life. Not much in the area but that suited us however Argostoli is only about 10kms away with everything you would expect a tourist town to offer.

Pour : L'ottima posizione sulla spiaggia, la pulizia e la disponibilità e l'accoglienza del proprietario Sig. Stelios sempre sorridente
Contre : Se proprio vogliamo trovare un difetto, potrei segnalare che i letti se pur comodi cigolano e non abbiamo trovato il letto matrimoniale ma 2 separati
Emplacement : L'hotel è vicinissimo all'aereoporto ed è sulla spiaggia con vista impareggiabile da ciascuno dei mini-appartamenti. Davvero incantevole !
Amo la Grecia e ho visitato negli anni diverse isole. Cefalonia mi ha colpito molto perchè è ancora poco sfruttata e ti permette di vivere a contatto con la natura e con gli animali. Abbiamo visto le tartarughe Caretta Caretta che al mattino nel porto vengono a mangiare gli scarti del pesce che gettano in mare i pescatori e abbiamo spostato le caprette dalla strada per poter passare con la macchina. Paesaggi mozzafiato sempre diversi, il mare è una piscina a cielo aperto dove i pesci ti gironzolano intorno indisturbati ... insomma un sogno ! E poi Ammos Residence è una location semplicemente meravigliosa che ti permette di svegliarti e di addormentarti la sera con il rumore del mare!

La posizione dell’hotel è assolutamente fantastica...nella spiaggia. Da provare e riprovare....
