Publié le 20 juin 2017 sur HotelsBefore arriving, we were worried about the hotel given the low price and the 1 star. There was no need as the room was great with a lovely view and comfortable bed. A nearby pool bar offering breakfast perfectly compliments this basic hotel.

terrazza fantastica
Publié le 3 janv. 2018 sur Expedialocation fantastica, abbiamo alloggiato al secondo piano e davanti a noi una terrazza fantastica.. stanza ampia pulita e con ogni confort.. il proprietario gentile e disponibile ci ha dato tutte le migliori informazioni e grazie anche a lui e stato un soggiorno indimenticabile, grazie ancora.. consigliatissimo anche per la posizione a meta dell'isola..

Piacevole , soprattutto la vista stupenda e la posizione , vicino al centro e a metà tra tutte le spiagge .

- posizione comoda, vicino alla fermata dell'autobus
- vista dalla collina sul mare
- pulizia e disponibilità del proprietario
- camera abbastanza spaziosa con frigorifero
- bagno in camera

il panorama non basta

Pour : stanza spaziosa, letti comodi, panorama e pulizia
Contre : fornire le stanze di tavolo e sedie, posate, tazze, bicchieri, bollitore e un cestino. il bagno di mensole e/o mobiletti, portasapone e portasciugami.
Emplacement : la location é buona, la cittá e le spiagge sono vicine
sin dall'ínizio é stato difficile contattatare la struttura (non rispondono a mail, sms, wattsup) abbiamo dovuto fare una chiamata internazionale al numero di telefono fisso prima che ci rispondesse qualcuno. Responsabile della struttura latitante, visto solo il giorno del check-in e quel giorno, dopo la nostra richiesta, ci ha detto che ci avrebbe fornito un bollitore e due tazze, entrambi mai visti. Il giorno del check-out vista l'assenza di chiunque abbiamo dovuto lasciare la chiave attaccata alla serratura esterna della porta. Il wifi ha cominciato a funzionare dopo 8 giorni (su 11 di soggiorno e dopo mia richiesta). Mancano sedie per il tavolo, bicchieri, tazze e suppellettili, un bollitore, un cestino per i rifiuti (ogni giorno ci siamo procurati una busta in cui mettere l'immondizia che il personale delle pulizie gentilmente rimuoveva), nel bagno mancano mensole e mobiletti, il portasapone e un portasciugamano erano in condizioni pessime. La struttura é difficile da trovare, non c'é alcuna indicazione sulla strada (abbiamo impiegato 20min girando per trovarla).

the tower rail was broken and we didnt notice it to fix it urgent.
as for your booking you book to a guesthouse and pay for the budget room. now if you want better services you could upgrade your room or book to a Hotel.

Not a good place to stay

Contre : The hotel could have a make over, be properly marketed so taxi drivers and bus operators knew where it was
Emplacement : Lovely Island with friendly people overall
I booked this Hotel via Expedia. My friend who is a Greek asked people at the airport, taxi driver and bus driver and no one had heard of the Blue Bay. We stopped and asked a nice couple who own the Anastasia apts who drove us about trying to find this hotel, they rang the tourist police. Eventually they located it and it was previously called Banos or Panos hotel. We arrived and the place was empty and spent 5 mins calling out and knocking on doors. At last the owner came out and asked what we wanted. My friend explained the situation and he told that it was not his problem and he had told expedia that the hotel was shut until June as there was a problem with the well. He told me it was not his problem and sort it out with expedia. So my advice is never book into the Blue Bay hotel because if it is open I would not like think of the treatment you may receive.

i can only laugh with this. because its ridiculous.
1) your "friend" the cypriot guy arrived with you and asked as if we cancel the reservation so you can stay together at his place, and we agreed for a refund,
after that you contact expedia to ask for extra money.
you didnt reply to any email or telephone number you leave to us. and then you went to the police as well to ask for extra money.
2) the anastasia facility its right beside us, 5 meters away. thank god these helpful guys didnt sent you km away.
i would advise you next time not to let other people talk behalf of yourself and be more cautious with your "friends"
last but not least we are glad you didnt stay at out place and we dont want such a visitors.

Great host, nice view, hard to find.

Pour : Small, quiet clean rooms & nice grounds. Host is very helpful. When our AC did not work, a nice fan was provided & it worked out perfectly. Parking.
Contre : Signs for locating property. Towel hooks in bath. Coffee, juice bar would be ideal.
Emplacement : Plenty of beaches all around island, use the bus for access as road is not safe for walking. Evangelistria Monastery is sublime by car, taxi, scooter.
Above the main road near bus stop 9, it took us about 2 hours to locate this place in our rental car. Expedia has done them a real disservice in not giving good directions. Blue Bay is clean, small, & quieter than many places nearer the road or in Skiathos town. Vagelis is very friendly, helpful & responsive. Contact him directly when you arrive on Skiathos & arrange to meet him at a nearby point so that he can escort you to the property.
