I had torn my achilles tendon just before my stay here so accessibility was an issue to some degree. No rooms had ramps or had ground floor accessibility. Other than that, the staff were great, breakfast was fantastic. Lunch was meh, dinner was really nice at the stone restaurant. My family had rented a car so we were a short 20 min drive into old town Chania which was gorgeous.

Property was ok. Rooms were outdated and beach was just ok. We had an outstanding dinner at the Tavern. Jurgen was our server and was simply amazing.

Excellent hotel
Posted Sep. 21, 2021 on HotelsHad a great weeks holiday at this hotel. The room we booked was in apart of the hotel that closed so they gave us a great room with our own patio and sun beds. The staff here are excellent and can’t do enough for you. Spotless in all areas. We only had breakfast the choice was superb. Organised things going on through the day if you wanted to join in., for the kids as well. Only downside is that it is a very big complex and I’m not sure when full it would be too much. Also location is totally wrong. It’s more of a 25 min walk to the square. Not much around the hotel

On the other hand, we felt disappointed that you were not satisfied with the location of our property. The hotel is located in the middle of Gerani village, which is 10 minutes away by foot and Platanias which is 10 minutes away by bus. The bus stop is opposite the hotel with frequent itineraries to Platanias and Chania town.
