Avis Villa Magnolia - Spacious Home, Big Terrace

Lovely traditional cretan house in a small mountain village. A little difficulty finding it as we arrived very late but we were able to get in touch with the couple who took care of property. The property is very traditional and beautiful, the upstairs terrace spacious, downstairs there were lots of plants and flowers and grapes growing ( tasted delicious! )The locals could not have been friendlier, many of them inviting us into their homes and gifting us with fruit,homemade pies, jam. The house itself had a huge welcome of food and drink which was lovely. We ate out at two local tavernas (one was temporarily closed) where the food was wonderful. The coast was a half hour drive away with good sandy beaches and plenty of villages and towns to explore.
