Trois nuits à Symi

L'unica critica che ho su questa struttura è che nonostante la prenotazione fosse stata fatta correttamente per il 17 agosto (check in) la titolare dell'hotel si era sbagliata ed aveva prenotato la camera per il 18 agosto (check out 19). E' la prima volta che con Expedia mi trovo in una situazione simile. Comunque devo dire che la signora in 10 minuti ha risolto il problema trovando una camera in ottimo hotel a poche decine di metri dal Dorian, con upgrade, senza alcun sovraprezzo per me, incluso il breakfast. Devo riconoscere che la risoluzione del problema è arrivata in 10 minuti, forse meno. Considerato il periodo di vacanze devo dire che sono stato molto fortunato a trovare una camera a pochi metri dal Dorian.

Πολύ όμορφη εμπειρία
Publié le 18 juill. 2021 sur HotelsΤο κατάλυμα είναι όμορφο σε πολύ καλό σημείο και με πολύ ωραία θέα προς το λιμάνι της Σύμης. Οι χώροι είναι προσεγμένοι, διακοσμημένοι σε κλασσικό νησιωτικό στυλ και πολύ καθαροί. Το μπάνιο είναι λίγο μικρό, το υπνοδωμάτιο είναι άνετο και βρίσκεται στο πάνω μέρος του σπιτιού. Η κ. Φωτεινή είναι πολύ ευγενική, φιλική και έτοιμη να βοηθήσει σε ότι χρειαστεί. Συνολικά πολύ όμορφη εμπειρία!!!

Ottimo hotel
Publié le 20 août 2020 sur HotelsHotel confortevole e curato situato nella zona tranquilla della baia del porto di Symi. La signora molto disponibile e attenta alle varie necessità. Ci hanno fatto trovare anche caffè e qualcosa per la colazione, oltre ad offrirci una cassa d'acqua. Consigliatissimo.

Taken to someone's house instead of the hotel!!

Pour : Never saw the hotel - the house they took us to was awful. Nothing to like about it.
Contre : Everything! We went out to get some food on arrival and when we got back the key didn't work. We ended up having to climb the wall to get in!
We showed up on the evening ferry from Rhodes after being on a sailing Gulet in Turkey (no internet). Were met by the owner of the hotel and her son. She never used our name but asked if we were the people that had booked on Expedia. Nothing was explained and we were led, in the dark, up to a house on the hill. When we got there there was another person there who was introduced as the owner of the house and that we were staying here for 3 nights (we had 4 nights booked) When I asked why the owner of the hotel said she had been trying to call us that day and had left numerous messages (which by the way we never got) but they had basically given our room to someone else. We had no choice but to stay in the house as it was now close to 10pm at night and there was no way to leave the island. When I queried the 4th night she claimed it was never booked (I later found out that they had cancelled that through Expedia a few days before but we didn't know as we didn't have internet in Turkey)The house they left us in looked like no-one had been in it for ages, completely bereft of any comfort items or even pictures on the wall. One of the couches had a plain white sheet and a bed pillow on it (no cover). There were ants crawling all over the sachets of dried up old Nescafe coffee and honey, the shower was broken, the toilet seat was barely hanging in there. It was dark and creepy. She didn't even want to give us a contact number or a chance to sort out the booking issue the next day.

There is no professional duty of care
Publié le 30 août 2016 sur HotelsFirstly the studio I was given did not match the photos in any way, nor did I receive much welcome. I was checked in by a 16yr old boy who just put the case inside.The front door didn't lock. The fridge leaked & I slipped on the wet floor. The wi fi was patchy. The owner asked if I was afraid to leave the (unlockabe) door open (as if I had a problem.) Similar response when I asked for tea and fresh milk rather than tiny packets of long life milk she gave to me. I offered to buy milk & she looked disgusted. She didn't tell me the water was unsafe to drink and left no safe water in the fridge. She didn't offer to clean the water in the fridge or the wet mat. I later cleaned the fridge and noticed black mould on the shelves. I had a shower and the floor was so slippery I skidded. There was no bath mat to stand on and the tiles were slippery. I had 2 cups of tea with unboiled water and then wondered if it was safe so I asked locals who said absolutely not! Then I began to worry! My stomach the next day was sore and tender but responded to prebiotic tablets. I asked the cleaner for safe water and she said no. She also said she will fix the fridge when I leave. When I mime angry and sore stomach and tap water she came back with 3 bottles of water. It's two days too late!!
