Beds were a little bit hard and not so comfortable.
A microwave in the kitchen would have been perfect

This is an amazing property! The pictures don’t do it justice. I’ve never stayed at such a beautiful, historic location. It’s set away from the crowds of tourists for a truly peaceful and special experience. It is a close drive to many things to do and places to eat, but coming back at the end of the day is the best part.

Positive aspects: -
- location is great. It is in the countryside, but within easy reach of the beaches and the rest of the island.
- Pool kept in good condition and appreciated.
- rooms have kitchenette. Small, but adequate for light meals.
Negative aspects
- WIFI. The property advertises the rooms including wifi (Expedia and hotel website), but this is not the case -the rooms do not have wifi. The only available wifi is in the reception building.
- Cleanliness is not the best. The dishes and cutlery were not properly cleaned between guests (a particular concern given the presence of covid) Under the children’s beds in the loft was a quantity of dust that indicated it had not been swept in considerable time.
- The breakfast is basic. We were the only family having breakfast in the hotel which meant the turnover of the ‘buffet’ items was limited. By the fourth day the yogurt was out of date and the bread was stale. The coffee was cold every day. We decided to renounce our breakfast for the last part of the holiday.
- The air-conditioning was not effective for the loft space which was typically too hot. This will depend on the configuration of the room you have.
- The ‘satellite’ TV in our rooms received only a few Greek channels clearly, the rest were garbled.

Dear Family Montaleone, thank you for taking time in writing a review about your stay in our Hotel.
Concerning your remarks about our Wifi accesibility, as discussed in person, our property is not a city hotel like business hotels but a relaxing family run traditional Hotel in the countryside where somebody can really charge their batteries. The accesibility is at the reception and the pool area which is written everywhere.
The cleanliness of our rooms has always been a high standard for us and never a downside but we thank you for reminding us that you did not see it that way.
Our breakfast buffet is something we really put weight on with fresh products from the market of corfu, local vegetables and fruits, plenty of variety, to start your day as in our photos.
The moment you informed us it was too hot for you at the second room on the loft we brought you a big ventilator.
We can agree that the satellite TV did not work probably in your room and called our technician immediately to fix the errors.
Summing up, we would like to thank you and wish all of you a nice winter.
Perhaps another time you can come back am and get more satisfied of our services and enjoy the peace and mindset of our Hotel.

Wunderbare Lage, aber das war´s dann auch schon...

Contre : ja: besichtigen das Hotel und bewerten es ehrlich!!
Emplacement : Nichts: das nächste Restaurant ist mindestens 5 Kilometer entfernt.
Vorneweg: die Lage dieses Hotels ist einzigartig, und wer absolute Ruhe sucht, ist hier goldrichtig. Auch der Pool ist neu und in allerbestem Zustand.
Für die Zimmer gilt dies leider nicht. Geschönte Fotos täuschen hier darüber hinweg, dass die Ausstattung der Räume doch eher sehr einfach ist und die Einrichtung auch keinerlei Komfort bietet. Der Gastgeber ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, aber das rechtfertigt nicht den hohen Preis für die Unterkunft. Es gibt weder Suiten, noch haben wir das gebuchte 75 qm große Familienzimmer erhalten, obwohl dafür teuer bezahlt.Die Kitchenette ist renovierungsbedürftig und lässt Selbstversorgung eigentlich nicht zu. (Keine Mikrowelle, marginal ausgestattet mit Geschirr, Plastik). Auch sas sehr bescheidene Frühstück auf winzigen Holzstühlchen in einem verstaubten muffigen Privatmuseum ist wenig anheimelnd, und trotz der perfekten und ruhigen Lage gibt es keine Sitz-Gelegenheiten, um in einer winzigen Privatsphäre den Sonnenuntergang zu genießen. Die genannten Austattungsmerkmale sind nur bedingt vorhanden: Wifi funktioniert nur am Pool vernünftig, bei nächtlichen 25 Grad war die Klimaanlage funktionsuntüchtig gemacht und die Comfort-Matratzen werden auf Beton und Stein gelegt, so dass an Schlaf nicht zu denken ist. Internet per Kabel wurde nicht bereit gehalten. Die tägliche Zimmerreinigung erfolgt, aber Handtücher werden nur zweimal die Woche gewechselt und dann erhält man auch nicht verfleckte Exemplare. Alles in allem ein schlechter Witz

Contre : All the rooms are different so pick room on budget and preference. Wifi to slow to use but 4G worked fine most of the time.
Emplacement : You need a car to stay there but I recommend one anyway to see the island. There is about 15 min to the beach and 15 min to corfu town.
The hotel is located on the top of a hill with scenic view. The hotel got a nice pool which is empty most of the time. All rooms got their own sitting area outside.

Sitio relajante con precioso entorno y bonita piscina. Necesario coche, algo falto de servicios para la restauración. Dueños y trabajadores muy amables. Al ser el campo tienes que tener claro la existencia avispas, saltamontes, salamandras, gatos,.....
