The benefit of staying inside the Medieval City is the unique experience of feeling the way people were leaving back in the Medieval Ages in combination with the new age City’s attractions which are indeed 5 to 10 minutes walking distance from our hotel. Thank you for mentioning about our “fresh made breakfast” since we are very proud of it as we indeed using only local fresh products and making it strictly fresh every day. We always want our guests to feel relaxed and properly accommodated, so making sure you arrive and depart our establishment with ease and comfort is the least we could do.We also appreciate your nice comments about our Medieval Villa’s size, offered amenities, patios, available views and hot tub, the latter of which being a quite recent addition to the roster. And while it hasn’t been officially implemented yet in the list of the Villa’s offered luxuries, we are glad that you enjoyed this small surprise of ours.On another note, we would like to inform you that, as per UNESCO laws on existing infrastructure withing World Heritage Sites, installation of metal or other types of structures is not permitted. As a result, the infrastructure requires to be maintained with already established materials (wood, stone, etc.) depending on the respective World Heritage Site’s architectural etiquette. This is also the reason we chose to name our offering a Medieval Villa in the first place; its purpose is for the guests to enjoy a part of our hotel, reminiscent of both the Medieval and post-19th Century lifestyles. That is why we do not understand the reason behind your mention of wood smell and “desperate need of upgrades”.Additionally, the bidet is used for the sole purpose of cleaning oneself after using the toilet, which is why its faucet is generally aimed towards one’s private area. Besides, its use throughout our guests’ stay is completely optional, therefore your issue regarding its mechanics is a bit irrelevant, albeit understandable.Regardless, we thank you for taking time off of your day to write down this constructive, yet helpful, review and we hope to accommodate you again in another of our available suites.Kind regards,The “In Camera” team
