The hot food at breakfast was cold and there was very little (3 rashers of cold bacon) for later comers. The coffee from a machine was undrinkable. The orange juice was poor.

The AC was not ON when I arrived and was not able to turn it on. Unit appeared to be defective.

Good Value, Friendly People

Overnight in Corfu
Posted Jul. 20, 2019 on HotelsWonderful service and relaxed atmosphere. Nice location tucked away but still close to the marina. The owner personally greeted us and was onsite most of our stay. He even helped us transport luggage when the taxi wouldn’t allow luggage on the back seat. One strange thing was that you have to bring your own towel for the pool. You are not allowed to use any of the hotel towels. The bed was very firm.

For the town of Gouvia, this hotel was very nice. My relatives were staying at another around the corner, and Maltezos was nicer. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel staff and owners were very helpful and polite. Breakfast was good with fresh bread, eggs, sausage/bacon, canned fruit, pastries, and the BEST yogurt. We ate breakfast in the pool area, which overlooks a grassy area with a small play structure for kids. The location was convenient to the marina, restaurants, etc. It’s a block from the sea and pebble beach, but I’d look elsewhere if you want a beach vacation. This town is small, quaint, quiet, and comfortable.

Clean & comfy!
Posted May 25, 2012 on HotelsHaving spent our fortnight holiday in a villa in the north-west of the island we chose to spend our final day in Corfu town; therefore We booked our room as a stop off to enable us to have somewhere to freshen up prior to our flight home. We were met with a very warm & friendly welcome. The proprietor was very helpful & didn't mind that we'd booked a single room & 3 of us were using it & that we weren't staying the night. The hotel is very clean & has a homely feeling about it. It's a 10min drive to Corfu Town & 20mins to the airport both very easy to find (more or less a straight road to both) The Gouvia area has a small number of shops & restaurants & a picturesque bay.
