The room was always clean the people who run are very professional and friendly too it’s a big plus that it’s near the beach feels like paradise here we will come back next year...

Stingy and unhelpful
Publié le 28 sept. 2014 sur HotelsThe surrounding area, while beautiful, is a 30-45 minute walk from town in an area with very infrequent public transportation, and very few dining and grocery options. Given that the owners know this, it was shocking that they were as unhelpful as they were when we needed basic things. For example, the public beach is close to the hotel, but they won't allow you to take a towel to the beach and there are no options to get one. On the advertisement, they say that they offer breakfast for "around" 5 Euros, instead it was 15 for a meager spread that wasn't ready at 9:00 AM. We ended up searching for 30 minutes and finally found a cafe. The view looked beautiful in the photos, but they don't show the broken awning which can't be raised, or the buildings obstructing the view between most of the rooms and the sea. While they say that they offer "amenities" in the bathroom, what they mean is that it will have a single soap dispenser. This sort of thing was typical -- not an outright lie, but an overrepresentation of something we were looking forward to but didn't really get. To finish things off, we appreciated it when they arranged a place in town where we could store our bags until our boat left. But of course, when they called us a taxi, didn't tell either us or the taxi driver which place it was. So we were dropped off in the middle of town, not knowing where to go and in the rain this time. Overall very underwhelming delivery on promises and a disappointing stay.

We have read carefully your review and we would like to say the following: There is groceries shop as well as a mini market in front of the Hotel. 300m away there are 2 supermarkets and one restaurant which is open day and night. The public bus stops every 30minutes at the bus station which is 50m away from us. With respect to the breakfast the price was 15euros for 2 people, not for 1 person as it was mentioned and it can be prepared anytime the client wishes. We mentioned the price when you asked us. All our clients that have tasted were enthusiastic. You did not even taste it. Your room had fully equipped kitchen for preparation of breakfast if you wished with kettle, fridge, tost machine, coffee machine, hobs and a big bottle of mineral water was available free of charge. We even offer to our guests tea and coffee at the breakfast room free of charge. About the towels we are not obliged to offer for swimming at the sea. If a client needs he can buy at the supermarket. About the view out of the room so far during the almost 2 years of operation all clients are very satisfied. With respect to the bags we offered for your convenience to find you a place at the port where you could leave them and we gave the exact details to the taxi driver. Unfortunately the taxi driver did not do the right thing. The office where normally you would had left your bags did an exemption for you because of us. We are friendly with all our clients and trying to provide all facilities and services they might need, explaining everything with respect to the room facilities, the transport, the island, the food etc.
