We are all in all really happy about our holidays there and de can only recommand it to others !

Vraiment sympa, confortable et reposant: un petit paradis de nature à portée de ville!

Une grande et agréable maison, bien équipée, offrant des chambres chacune avec salle d'eau et pergolas indépendantes, sur un grand terrain boisé et fleuri. Lieu paisible sans nuisances, très discret avec accès aisé à la ville et son port, faisant dos à des montagnes et offrant une large vue sur la baie. Des pergolas tout autour, une grande piscine conviviale avec sa plage de soleil, lever et coucher visibles sans restrictions depuis tout le site. pas mal d'opportunités d'excursions ou de plage dans les environs. Pantelis et ses parents sont des hôtes charmants très prévenants. Séjour de décompression totale loin des tracas quotidiens

Lovely villa in a great location
Publié le 24 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed at Villa Manika at the beginning of July and had a wonderful time. The villa is a short drive to Sitia with shops, a beautiful harbour and lots of cafes and restaurants. We had a hire car but got a taxi a few times in the evening which was 8 Euros each way. The villa was very spacious, clean and well equipped, we also liked that it was laid out on one level. The pool was beautiful, it was a great size and the water temperature was perfect. Upon making our reservation Despina and Pantelis sent us emails with some suggestions on places to visit and restaurant recommendations which was very helpful. One suggestion would be that a welcome pack is provided with some essentials such as milk and bread etc, we had a very long journey so it would of been nice not to have to go to the supermarket immediately upon arrival. The only thing we felt that could be improved upon is an upgrade to the outdoor furniture and unfortunately the large parasol by the pool had a base which was unable to support it when the wind picked up and it kept getting blown over which could be dangerous. We noticed around the harbour area that the restaurants have their parasol bases bolted in the ground which might be a good idea. We very much enjoyed our stay here and it was a great base for exploring the eastern part of Crete. We would definitely stay at Villa Manika again when visiting this beautiful unspoilt part of the island. Thank you Pantelis and Despina for a wonderful stay.

Great property in a lovely location
Publié le 5 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe stayed for a week at the end of August and had a great time. We were gutted when it came time to leave. The properly is really well appointed and maintained. And the location is only a very short drive to Sitia. We would definitely recommend!

Perfection
Publié le 1 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWe stayed in Villa Manika for two weeks at the end of July & had a wonderful holiday. The villa had EVERYTHING you could possibly need and more, a real home from home. It was spotlessly clean and so well equipped. Pictures don’t do it justice it was fantastic. The kids lived in the amazing pool and thankfully, because it was so incredibly hot, there was a parasol & sun shade poolside so it didn’t become too much. Pantelis was in touch throughout the stay & was so helpful, even recommending somewhere to stop & eat on the drive to the villa. (Kathodon in Myrsini highly recommend) We loved Sitia and the surrounds. There are a few souvenir shops & the likes & lots of places to eat & drink just a few minutes drive from the Villa but it isn’t anywhere near as much of a tourist trap as some towns on the island. Everyone has a smile & a hello for you. The taverna Dionysos just a 100m from the Villa is excellent, huge portions & very good value with a playground & inside trampoline if you have small children. Because of the heat & fires on the other islands we decided not to use the BBQs & it was too hot to cook inside so we went out most evenings & found everywhere very reasonably priced. The beach is gorgeous & very safe. I’d recommend using cafe beach chairs at the far end as the main beach can be quite crowded & they will bring food & drinks to your chair. All in all I couldn’t recommend the Villa or Sitia enough. We definitely hope to be back.

Excellent Villa

Great pool and ample living space for 6 adults. Would definitely recommend.

Nothing that we missed
Publié le 19 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had a great vacation in Villa Marnika. The estate is well-tended and there was nothing that we missed. On the front of the Villa we had a stunning view to the sea side of the northern coast and to the Beach view of Sitia. There are many possibilities for trips, for going out for a meal and shopping tours. As we liked the pool and the environment so much we decided to stay some days in the villa instead of doing trips. Therefore we did only 3 trips in the week when we stayed there. This was Agios Nikolaos, VAI Beach and the Beach of Palekastro. Unfortunately we had only one week – far too short for staying at this beautiful side of Crete.
All the best for Pantelis and Kate doing everything to offer us a wonderful vacation we will never forget. 😊

Publié le 21 août 2022 sur HomeAwayDie Unterkunft ist wie auf den Bildern dargestellt. Bezüglich der Ausstattung im Haus fehlt es an nichts. Es gibt viele Plätze zum Verweilen, der Pool ist riesig. Die Kommunikation war unkompliziert.
Danke für eine tolle Woche Urlaub in Ihrer Unterkunft. Wir haben es sehr genossen und es hat uns ausnahmslos gut gefallen.

Stunning villa

It’s peaceful, beautiful, with lovely sea views and plenty of places to sit and take in the surroundings. It’s really well equipped and having three bathrooms was a real bonus, especially with teenage daughters! It’s modern, spacious and the pool area is lovely. Sitia town is a ten minute drive away (or 8 euro cab) and there are some lovely beaches a short drive away. Vai is lovely with sunbeds and a cafe/restaurant but don’t get there too late as it gets busy. Sitia beach is convenient and the beach bars just charge you for drinks to use their sunbeds. There are some more remote beaches (itanos, chonia) but take your own brolly as there’s little shade. Sitia town is great for bars and restaurants. We recommend Ta Limoni, Basilico, Cretan House and Sitia pizza. The black hole bar is good for cocktails. We would definitely return!
