Villa is very well equipped . Wonderful pool/hot tub and Sauna.

Views to die for, comfy beds, great aircon, lovely sun loungers, heated pool and a 10 minute drive into Almyrida which has plenty of restaurants and bars on the beach. There is a handy shop walkable from the villa for all the essentials. Vasilis couldn’t have been more helpful. We will be back!

Rundum perfekt

Publié le 5 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayWir haben uns in der Villa super wohl gefühlt. Die hohen Decken, die sanften Farben und die Sauberkeit garantieren einen wunderbaren Urlaub. Nicht nur die Größe, sondern auch der Pool waren perfekt geeignet für uns 6 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder. Der Besitzer war immer erreichbar, und gab uns super Tipps für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung. Die Villa liegt nahe an einem Strand und Tavernen. Ein privater Chef und professionelle Massage kann gebucht werden. Danke für diese tollen Tage, wir kommen wieder!

A Family Paradise
Publié le 31 août 2021 sur HomeAwayThis was our most relaxing holiday ever - a beautifully equipped villa - the most comfortable mattresses - set in a small village overlooking real Crete - farms, grapes and olives and views of the sea. Everything about this holiday was perfect - 10 minutes from the Sea - lovely villages and only 40 minutes from Chania.
Great pool, fantastic gym, living space with a bedroom and ensuite shower room (voted best considered space for disability in 20 villa rentals by my mother) all on one floor. The wood fired oven and the local English butcher made an afternoon's entertainment and delicious Rib of Beef. Villa Rouga is a house made to create memories for all generations, Vassilis an amazing host and we can't wait to go back

In a word: Fabulous!!!
Publié le 28 juill. 2021 sur HomeAwayAlthough we encountered some technical difficulties working through VRBO, the owner Mr Georgilas was extremely accommodating and facilitating in helping get us this location for the last few days our our Cretan vacation, and it was the best ending to an overall fabulous trip!
The property itself is exactly what you'd be looking for to escape. Impeccably clean and well maintained and manicured, this villa is nestled in a sleepy village overlooking some fabulous olive groves in the hills just south east of Chania. The house fabulously laid out to provide privacy for families or groups but not so much as one feels too distant from the 'action'. It has a games room and exercise facility to work off the calories incurred from outings sampling the local cuisine. It is very well outfitted with modern appliances and technology, if you have demanding young adults. There is a shop and Resturant within walking distance if you aren't keen to drive and if you are, most everything is available within a 10 minute drive.
Although not completely convenient to get to the beach, (8 min by car) we were perfectly content to lounge by large heated pool.
You will likely want a car for this villa as I didn't see public transportation convenient to the village.
We LOVED staying at this villa and if there is one negative about the experience, it is that we didn't stay there long enough.
If we are lucky enough to get back to Crete in the near future, we will remedy that regret and book this villa again, guaranteed!

Great vibe, settled in a very peaceful village and everything like beaches,restaurants,markets are very close. The owner is very helpful and contactable. Spacious areas ideal for families, we enjoyed the big pool and the amazing sunsets in the jacuzzi.
