Hotel under significant renovation. Shower needs repair. Poor draining and water adjustment damaged

They are under renovation, which I understood, but we didn’t have working AC in our room all night. It was 75 degrees all night which for the money wasn’t expected. The AC unit was very loud as well even though it wasn’t producing cold air. I told the front desk in the morning and the gal apologized but suggested we could one called down for a box fan. She offered us a cold water for the road. What would have been nice was working AC or a discounted stay. Also the area around the AC unit including window ledge was very dirty with maybe construction dust? The hotel is right on the highway so expect to hear loud highway traffic al night. The beds were comfy and it felt mostly clean. I still would have stayed elsewhere had I known.

The area around the hot tub and pool was not very clean, noisy a lot of knocking sounds, hard to sleep, I fell off the toilet when the seat completely disconnected and I let them know at the front desk and all she said was I will have maintenance look at that…
