A good stay
Publié le 9 août 2019 sur HomeAwayThe house was as displayed on the site. Proactive owner with communications, great quiet neiborhood. House interior could benefit by some minor upgrade: rusted ventilation grid, dirty shower ceiling, damaged chair in bedroom.
Sofa bed in living room was not very comfortable for sleepers, even though we were not expecting a A bed either from a sofa bed.
Overall we managed to have great vacations. Thanks

Quiet get away
Publié le 3 janv. 2025 sur HomeAwayVery cool property, felt safe, nice gardens, tree house vibe from bedroom! Back deck was private and great place for coffee. Easy access to whole Bay Area. Bathroom needs a bit more love for an old quaint cottage. Overall very pleasant experience!

Great place/location
Publié le 14 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property is quite large, and there are three separate structures. This guest house is just to the right when you enter the property and it’s lovely. It was clean and comfortable. The only issue was a drip in the bathroom ceiling. It was raining the entire time we were there. But the bed was comfortable, the hosts were responsive, and it was perfect for what we needed, which was to be close to the College of Marin.

Publié le 10 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayPretty clean. My wife gave it a "B" Pretty good property but it needs a little work here and there. Living room, kitchen and bedroom were good. The bathroom needs a little work. The shower was not the best. Linens provided were of top-notch quality. Holes in the walls need patching and painting. Overall it served our needs and we really have no major complaints. Would I rent again? Probably but the thing holding me back from saying yes is that there is waaaay too much traffic in the area. Sir Francis Drake Blvd. is ridiculous. US 101 was almost as bad as I-405 in LA.

As stated in the listing description, the shower is small and the bathroom is older. Areas of the place could use fresh paint - but there are no holes in the wall. All of this will be solved very soon with a major renovation taking place in February! The place will have a new kitchen, new bath, fresh coat of paint and new carpeting.
As for traffic: It all depends on timing. It sounds like Craig was unlucky with that. Avoid Sir Francis Drake around school pickup and dropoff times, and 101 at rush hours, and you’re usually good.

Sweet Cottage
Publié le 3 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a lovely stay at this beautiful hideaway. It was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the easy access and close to a fabulous grocery store yet tucked away from the hussle and bustle nearby.
Great access to easy walking trails and great restaurants.
